Not too happy

First I was given a room type that I didnt reserve. When I went back downstairs the employee said " oh, I just gave you what was ready right now ". Next he gave me a room that was smelly and the carpet was wet. I coould tell that there was an attempt to easing the smell by cleaning the carpet but it did not work. There was a mini fan blowing across the carpet trying to dry it when I went into the room. I had to hold on to the wall to keeo from falling because stepping off of the carpet onto the hard surfaced flow was like walking on ice. If it wasnt too late I would have canceled that room and looked elsewhere....I was extremely disappointed.

I just want to take a moment to highlight the amazing service I received from Nick at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, he was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He took the time to explain everything to me in detail, including how the free wash and dry service worked, which was such a great bonus. I also had an issue with the TV in my room, and Nick didn’t hesitate to come help me get it working. Thanks to him, my children were able to watch TV and feel more at home. Nick truly stole the show with his kindness, patience, and professionalism. After talking with him, I felt completely at ease and confident that I made the right choice in staying at this hotel. Thank you, Nick, for going above and beyond!

Our first room stunk so bad! There was something dead in the garbage disposal, but i notified the staff and they fixed the situation immediately without question. Maintenance was in the room almost immediately to fix the problem. Meanwhile, we got moved to another. The service and staff were top notch!
