Dragonfly, a single-storey lodge, consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher, a dining area with dining table for four, and a sitting area with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and twin, along with a bathroom. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed wraparound decking with furniture and hot tub, plus off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.8 miles, pub 1.6 miles, river 0.5 miles. Return year after year to Dragonfly. Note: Although it is single-storey, there are steps up to the property. Note: No stag/ hen parties or similar. Note: Please be aware the site rules for the lodge operate a strict quiet time between the hours of 10pm-8am, the hot tub is not permitted to be used within this period. Note: The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at the lodge. Note: No dogs are allowed on the furniture or beds, all dogs must be supervised at all times; no dogs are to be left unattended in the lodge at any time. Please note; due to the hot tub being cleaned on the day of arrival, the temperature may not be at it's peak on the first day.

Visitors can enjoy playing a game of putty at Catterick Golf Limited and stretching their legs on the village's vast playing fields. Hipswell is served by multiple amenities, including: schools, supermarkets, convenience stores and eateries, meaning visitors won't have to travel far for the things they need during their stay. The village also boasts ample access to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, being in Swaledale itself, with the 268 miles-long Pennine Way trail to walk, the glorious limestone formation of Malham Cove to explore and the striking ruins of Bolton Priory to marvel at.
