We checked in and went to our first room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. We went and got another room and found it mostly clean (night stand had water stains and desk had hard candy stuck to it). Bathroom wall had something stuck to it and ceiling in bedroom had stains. Breakfast was typical hotel hotel breakfast. Expected more with buildup from desk person at check in. Selection was limited. Mostly clean hotel, near train tracks.
It was decent but would have liked to have known well in advance (not during check in) that we wouldn't have a key card. Breakfast was quite sparce on the one day when we came down at 8:30a. Overall, OK stay, but not likely to be back.

Key card machine/system was down the entire time. Had to be let into my room every time I left. Felt a bit like a prisoner in my room. If I leave a front desk person has to come up to the 5th floor and open my door for me.
Didn't have room keys the entire long weekend. Poorly handled response to that. We noted our concerns about security with staff letting guests into their rooms on an honor system of plainly stating the room they needed to enter. Zero checking of names or reservations even after verbally claiming such a policy would be in place. Elevator went out. Didn't receive housekeeping the entire stay. Breakfast was abysmal. Not staying at an Holiday Inn again but certainly not this one.

Room key system didn’t function. Employees had to escort everyone to their rooms.
This place was a nightmare! They had no keys that was broken and they indicated it wouldn't be fixed for a "long time". Really? so when you had to get into your room, you had to find someone with a "master". Very inconvenient. Then got stuck in the elevator one day and they said the lights were going off and on. Very scary as I am 70 years old and was staying on the 8th floor. This hotel needs help!!

The key card system was down so no key was provided for the rooms. One of the elevators was malfunctioning.i booked through hotels.com and used a gift card for the entire amount but apparently they did not have that information so i was charged an additional fee for the “night fee, which was almost twice as much as the incidental fee I had already paid. Also, just a little sidebar for hotels.com: Why can I not post specific prices? I believe other consumers that use your service should be privy to the fees they may incur at hotels that are promoted in your site. Please pay no attention to the following ramblings…. When I was tired I went ninety night and counted one sheep in 50 different ridiculous incidents.
Cancelled my reservation before I arrived gave my room away and left me essentially stranded in the middle of the night. Would not recommend. Did nothing to compensate or help with anew hotel.
