🏰 🧱 THE LITTLE WOLF ***** : RENAISSANCE ELEGANCE 🧱 🏰 ⭐ 5-STAR RATING (2025)

📍 1580 RENAISSANCE HOUSE | 1291 RAMPARTS | PRIVATE BALCONY

🕰️ A TIMELESS ESCAPE

Nestled in a Renaissance dwelling built upon the first medieval ramparts of Riquewihr (1291), the Little Wolf is a sanctuary of character where history lives in the present.

💎 OUR PHILOSOPHY: "HEALTHY LUXURY"

Here, luxury does not lie in flashiness. We have prioritized an organic and authentic elegance:

🌿 NOBLE MATERIALS

Breathe the pure air of a room with lime-washed walls and massive oak beams.

🛁 "SLOW-LIVING" BATHROOM

A unique bespoke space: an antique table serves as a vanity unit, with a natural stone basin and a shower featuring handmade tiles, set with chemical-free adhesives. A luxury that respects both your health and the environment.

🖼️ STREET & GARDEN VIEWS

🦅 THE HISTORIC WATCHER

Watch the life of the cobblestone streets from your medieval corner window, a true observation post into the past.

🌱 PRIVATE SERENITY

Enjoy a rare and privileged balcony overlooking our medieval-inspired garden, a haven of absolute calm.

🛋️ EQUIPMENT & SERVICES

🍳 Fully equipped kitchen for total independence. 🚿 Artisan bathroom with healthy materials. ⚡ Ultra-fast Fiber Optic Wi-Fi. ❄️ Modern comfort at the service of history.

At the Remparts de Riquewihr, we offer 9 outstanding holiday homes, in historic buildings located on the ramparts. They offer you the pairing of Alsatian tradition with modern comfort, charm and elegance.

The LITTLE WOLF***** is located on the rampart of the year 1291.

IN RIQUEWIHR, Alsace, OUR HOLIDAY APARTMENTS ARE DISTRIBUTED IN 2 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS

1/ - Charming and elegant vacation rentals of the Rempart of the Year 1291

They form a set of 6 exceptional lodgings around a small garden: 4 of them are located in an old Renaissance house built in the year 1580 on the first rampart of Riquewihr erected in 1291. The property faces the famous vineyard the Schoenenbourg which dominates the village; 2 other apartments complete the series in an adjacent house dating from the 17th century.

All these lodgings have been designed to meet the new 5-star standards for the furnished tourist apartments category.

A small garden with a medieval design gives an exquisite touch of refinement to this original ensemble.

The LITTLE WOLF***** is located on these ramparts from the year 1291.

2/ - The holiday homes of the Rempart of the Year 1500

A set of 3 romantic, elegant and comfortable lodgings, decorated in the purest Alsatian tradition. These exceptional lodgings are located on the second belt of ramparts of Riquewihr, completed in the year 1500.

The walls on the west side of our gîtes are made of the rampart itself. The facades on the east side have the appearance of typical Alsatian half-timbered houses. They are quietly located.

Great characterful apartment in Riquewihr

Very comfortable, clean and carefully restored one bedroom apartment in a quiet location but only 100 yards from the Main Street with its many shops and restaurants. Very helpful owner. Really enjoyed our stay!

A perfect peaceful hideaway close to all Riquewihr has to offer.

This is a lovely apartment, one where clearly great care was taken in its creation and it’s upkeep. A highlight is the little balcony where you can watch the swallows feeding and share a cold glass of something. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully finished apartment in an ideal location in best Alsace village

The apartment came with all facilities a modern couple needs. The decor and furnishings were very tastefully done. We enjoyed many hours sitting on the balcony. Having Aircon was a godsend, but with windows opened from evening till morning, the apartment was naturally cool enough, even with the mercury reaching 30c. Location within Riquewhir was perfect, as you pop in and out at will. We found that we had the village almost to ourselves at 7am, on a daily walk to the local boulangerie. Our interactions with the owner was very good, and the instructions provided were very clear and covered all we needed to know very well. Would very much recommend!

Wonderful Stay

We truly enjoyed our stay at Little Wolf in Riquewihr. Not only is the location idyllic, but the apartment was wonderful. The decor is tasteful and adds to the overall feel of staying in this charming village. The apartment is fully equipped with top-class amenities, including a heated towel rack, a dishwasher, and even a Christmas tree for the holiday season. Communication with the owners and their local manager was easy and friendly, and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in the Alsace.

La sérénité et la beauté ... magnifique !

Quels trois jours inoubliables !

Fabulous & Wonderful on Perfect Location!

Dear Martine - Jean-Paul; we would like to thank you for the wonderful time we had in Little Wolf!! We have stayed in many apartments and holiday homes over the years, but your Little Wolf was by far one of the better and most enjoyable places to stay. Your passion for renovation, but also for hospitality is truly noticable in your home away from home. You have thought of all the details to make your guests feel welcome, well taken care of, comfortable and at home. Your touch for detail to make our stay as pleasant as possible was noticable in all corners of the apartment. We have already told many of our friends and family about this wonderful place to stay. No doubt about it, when we return to the beautiful Alcase, we will stay again in one of your vacation accomodations. Thank you very much for a fabulous time. Warm greetings from Vancouver Island, Canada from Rick - Helma
