The breakfast that isn’t

I/we have been staying here in the summer for many years. This year, like most, the rooms were clean, staff friendly and efficient. The pool and hot tub were working n clean, tho the pool was too cold—it felt like a mountain lake. The biggest issue was food service. The restaurant was closed, no mention of that while booking that I saw. Worse yet was the complimentary “breakfast” which consisted of a small brown bag with a small apple, small tasteless bar, and a bottle of water. This is not a breakfast and should not be called one, very unsatisfactory.

Staff were wonderful. No restaurant and no continental breakfast so you are on your own. No soap provided, only shampoo and a shower cap (?!). Cleanliness of rooms seemed okay until we found a packet of coffee and sugar behind a TV stand/dresser. It was quiet overall.

Very disappointed!

I stay often and usually stay in the front building and it’s excellent. However, this time I was in the back building and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, The room smelled as did the whole back building.

The rooms are good sized and comfortable. The beds and linens are very comfortable. Our assigned room had not been cleaned and although staff immediately cleaned it and the hotel discounted our room $20, it was a rather unsettling experience.

Was not expecting much for the price, but was worse than expecting. Very dirty. Trash and dirty towels outside rooms that sat for 18hrs. Room was musty smelling. Carpet was filthy. Employee yelling & cussing at check in counter about his hours while I was checking in with my 7yr old next to me. Would not recommend.

If you like clean and new don’t stay here.

The bathtub did not drain all the way. The ice machine was broken the entire stay. There was a plunger left next to the toilet.
