Relaxing choice for the Tasman area,

Eden's Edge Lodge is an excellent choice for exploring the Tasman area, Kaiteriteri beach, etc. It is part of a small orchard/farm, so sources its own fruit, herbs, and eggs for breakfast. Very pleasant and relaxing, yet only a five-minute drive from Matueka for restaurants and shopping.

Great stay, would stay again

Very cute property with amazing views, very generous breakfast and cooking appliances, comfortable beds, and fresh fruit and pastries. The hosts are very kind and so are their cats. The wifi is good. Only downside was finding cockroaches in the food area and the room, but it's also a pretty nature-y place so maybe it's to be expected? That didn't take away from our experience but it's definitely something you can expect!

Great communal kitchen with fresh eggs and fruit from the farm. Homemade jams, custard pastries too. The kitchen was well designed and stocked with fresh milks, great coffee and teas, bread, butter including olive oil butter... One of my favorite places to sleep so far. Great strong hot shower too with nice amenities.

Lovely property, close to Abel Tasman

Glad we stayed here. Such a beautiful property with great shared kitchen and comfy rooms. Breakfast was amazing, fresh bread, pastries, jams and eggs!

Get Away from it All

My stay was exceptional at Eden Edge’s Lodge. The breakfast is much appreciated since most places in New Zealand do not offer breakfast as part of your stay.

The communal facilities were fantastic. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We lost our key when we went out for dinner and we had to disturb them around 10 pm. They did not fuss about it and just requested we have a good look for the keys. I would absolutely recommend this place if you want beautiful surroundings in a communal type environment. And this place is very close to the Abel Tasman boat shuttles (10 min by car).

Beautiful place, amazing breakfast. We also had a car accident the night we were staying and needed taxis and then to hang around for a tow truck the following day. Eric and Barb were absolutely brilliant and super helpful!!

We liked our stay. Friendly owner operators great continental breakfast. Everything was great . Except cold showers . I asked was told people are using too much of the hot water. Tried 2 hours later still cold. I would suggest switching to a water on demand system this would solve the issue . Overall nice place.
