Hotel is clean and check in was easy. Asked for clean towels and we were blessed with towels and our bed made up. Staff is amazing!!! Water pressure could be increased and a soap holder in the shower would make it more accommodating. Overall stay was wonderful.
I will stay again!!!

Felt uneasy in the area … checked in around midnight after granddaughter’s graduation … men 6 men sitting near front desk, 3 wearing hoodies ….
From check in to check out my stay was amazing. I forgot the young ladies name who checked me (young African American with a gray sweater) in at the front desk but she went above and beyond services. I am disabled and walk with a cane and she did everything and more to make sure I was comfortable and felt safe in the establishment. It was great to see her back on duty Saturday afternoon and she didn’t have to but as soon as she saw me walking she checked on me again and made sure I was doing well. I had never seen Sparks before but you better believe I will be returning as I visit the Roanoke area every three months.
This seems to be a property that was bought and renovated by Hilton’s brand. I found two cockroaches in my room, although it seemed clean. They probably are in the walls from its previous ownership. The room key didn’t work well, but it was one night ahead of a flight the next morning, so I didn’t complain. But the brand is now tarnished in my eyes and I won’t stay there again.
I would differently stay again. The only thing I did not care for was the shower. I have thick long hair. It was hard to get the shampoo out. My husband said the shower was okay for him.

Make this your last option before budget Inn
It says Spark by Hilton... umm ok but you left out this is an old outdated hotel that his now changed to be Spark by Hilton.
My family and I stay Hilton all the time and this is by far not the Hilton standard that I am use to.
Lets start with one elevator was broken the entire 2night stay and the other was half working, and we were on the 4th floor. Elevator is also nasty.
Sure there is complementary coffee and tea 24hrs but there has to actually be coffee or tea for it to be available, not even HOT WATER in the the thing!
Breakfast is very very basic! Bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, muffins, and oatmeal. God forbid your a diabetic or cutting carbs lol
There is no microwave in room, there is one downstairs but pray the elevator is working.
Overall the room is ok, nothing special, shower could have more pressure but at that point I was just glad it was working.
I honestly would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The elevator was broken at check in on Friday 4/11. Our room was on the 4th floor. The staff was kind and offered to help us bring up our luggage. The next morning on 4/12 the elevator was still broken. There wasn’t an out of order sign placed on the elevator and there was a gentlemen in a wheelchair that needed assistance, he was alone. He had no access to food. I told him I would let the front desk know. While walking down the hall to the stairs there was another man in a wheelchair. I let the front desk know and the woman rolled her eyes and then yelled across the lobby to the older woman working breakfast “come on we gotta go help this man in a wheel chair on the 4th floor”. They started complaining about having to carry him down the stairs!! I spoke up and said that they shouldn’t do that, that would be a liability and if they dropped him he could get hurt. They then said they were going to ask him if he could “try to walk”. I feel they were rude and insensitive. What if there was an emergency? How would they get out of the building? Shouldn’t wheel chair only disabled folks stay on the ground floor?

New Hotel. I really loved the bright/clean walk in showers. Easy quick check in and a decent breakfast in the morning. I popped my head into the fitness room and it was massive.
If I could give this hotel 20 stars I would.
