The check in was easy, the house was very clean. And everything worked as it should. Plenty of parking space and the gravel driveway was packed enough we have no problem with Harley kickstands but spot bikes may need to use a piece of wood or some of the stepping stones under the car port.

The property was CLEAN. That's a big plus. We liked the "carport" that we were able to put our bikes in. The wifi constantly went out and buffered, the water pressure varied from ok to almost nothing. The location was a bit out of the way and off the beaten path, while at the same time being close to town. AC worked great as did the washer and dryer. Didn't use the stove or microwave.

Mother/Son trip for Tail of the Dragon

I rented this property for a mother/son motorcycle trip to ride the Tail of the Dragon. My son is an adult so the separate beds and baths were appreciated! :-) The rental is lovely and appears clean. Clearly, the owner has paid attention to detail. Wi-fi is strong and we appreciated the covered parking area which was perfect for our motorcycles and contained concrete pavers that we could place under the kickstands. Check-in and out couldn't have been easier. Heads up that you have to take your own trash to a (nearby) separate location but dumpsters are available 24/7 and this was not a problem for us. We were only there for a weekend and didn't have a lot of trash. My only complaint (which seems like a strong word) is that the place smelled of cigarette smoke when I first arrived. The smell dissipated a bit with air moving around while we were there, though. Overall it was a great, easy stay! Would recommend and would return in the future.

Round 2 just as amazing, we will be back!!!

This was our 2nd trip and stay, the consistency and care of the property speaks volumes from 1 year to the next. We love the location the accommodations and tremendous thanks to the owners for caring about motorcycle riders who come to enjoy the area. We hope to return for a 3rd year in a row!

Motorcycle trip to North Carolina

Property was plenty of room for 4 adults, beds were comfortable. Quiet neighborhood but a little bit off the beaten path. One person in our party is a runner and found the neighborhood dogs (7) chased her down the road. Not really conducive to running or walking in the neighborhood. Driveway not great for motorcycles. (All gravel, long and steep slope) Listing said it had covered parking for motorcycles. Which it did but again unpacked gravel with pavers for kickstands. Bikes sunk in gravel which made it hard to move. Check in was emailed to me House would be unlocked, upon arrival found house locked. Had to call manager to bring key to get in. He was quick to respond just glad we got in at a decent hour. House was not stocked like our previous experiences with VRBO. (Ex. Snacks, couple bottles of water, toiletries, coffee) We were barely left with enough toilet paper for 4 days, which we were only there for a few hours a day. In the hallway, furnace cover was missing, not sure why. During checkout it was expected for us to take trash to sanitation facility about a mile away. Again, that has been included in cleaning fee charges in previous experiences. Also, not very conducive to motorcyclists. Final thoughts are it worked for this vacation experience but would not rent for another motorcycle vacation.

Great out of the way spot thats not too far from town!

Great out of the way spot thats within a few miles from town but you still have alot of privacy! Recommend for anyone coming to ride the dragon or just visiting the area.

We absolutely loved the house we rented, the owner was amazing, the set up was incredible, we never thought we could feel so at home in someone else's home, it has changed the way wee will vacation from now on.

House was super clean! Might need to bring extra toilet paper & paper towels with you
. Location was great, but restaurants closed at 8pm, some even earlier. Also, this is a dry county, so make sure you are stocked on your favorite adult beverages! LOL! Thank you for a great stay!! I would totally recommend this place!

5th Anniversary

It was our 5th anniversary and we wanted to get away with some friends for a peaceful trip and enjoy. They were very nice people and responded fast. The house was keep and neat. The beds slept good and the GPS bought us right to the house. The bedrooms need DVD players since it's only cable in the living room. We will be back.

Our great escape

We enjoyed our stay very private. It was a ways to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. About 2 hours away. Love playing cards at night on the front porch. Listen to crickets and other animals. We drove the dragon fork I guess that is what it called. Very curvey. Loved the place very roomy. Will have to come and stay again!
