Had a room with an adjoining door for the nest room and you could clearly hear all conversations and phone calls from the next door room :( Also reserved a King Deluxe room and was given a standard King room. Desk said that is what we reserved through Travelocity but we actually paid for the deluxe King as we needed chairs in the room for physical comfort.

My stay was fine, no major complaints. I do not think I will stay at Kahler anymore though because of their late check in policy, 4pm. I flew into town mid morning, got to hotel before noon, then instructed my room will not be available till 4pm. I think this may be the latest I have ever seen a check in time.

Great stay but complicated arrival by car

Both staffing arrival and Mayo Clinic construction will continue to be a challenge for guests at the Kahler Grand for a few months. Hopefully more bell/valet staff can be added and arrival moved back to proper entrance. Until then arrival by car for registration can be chaotic/-once insid at the front desk, check in was a breeze.
