Checked in for 3 days with a late check out, Major issues with room prep, smelled like a rotting wet mop, bed frame completely separated.at the headboard making the bed a giant " V" shape while being made up for rental they KNEW about the issue, phone did not have a dial tone to be able to call the desk and report the issues which caused a person with a disability to go back to the desk and attempt to get someone to the desk, finally after several ( 4-5 ) rings of the loud Christmas toned bell system someone returned to the front desk, was told that we could move to a NON handicapped room for the night which would NOT work for us, that they would have maintainance in the room at 8:30 the next morning to fix the issues, we made do with the sleeper sofa for the night and waited until 11:00 A M. NO MAINTENANCE arrived, we had to CANCEL 2 house viewing appointments because we couldn't shower while waiting for maintenance to come. Went back to the desk at 11:30 and discovered that the " maintenance man" WAS WORKING THE FRONT DESK & HAD NO IDEA OF THE ISSUE BECAUSE HE WASN'T TOLD. motels or hotels have maintenance working the front desk ? Never in my life have I seen that before and I WAS a MOTEL MANAGER FOR MANY YEARS ! Was also told at check-in that we had rented the last handicapped room, which was NOT true, they CLEANED the handicapped room nextdoor to us where we KNOW was empty end moved us into that room at 4 P.M. THE NEXT DAY, EVERY DAY we had to reset keys for a 3 day stay
