Wonderful park just steps away with picnic tables.

A lovely spot to stay -- on a quiet street, steps away from a waterfront park with hosts who do their best to think of everything. Our hosts were in touch before we got there, met us on arrival and showed us the well appointed apartment. A chilled bottle of wine was waiting for us in the fridge. Definitely would come back here.

Our best rental experience to date, and the only VRBO property we would come back to — Lodi and Jeff are delightful (and incredibly interesting) people who have obviously worked hard to put together a full-service, roomy VRBO apartment located a 15-minute walk from charming downtown Rockport — the interior gets lots of natural light and looks out over meticulous maintained gardens — we loved staying there and hope to be back — Celeste and Val

Rockport Retreat

Lody called us the day of arrival (overcast and rainy) to let us know they were ready for us if we arrived early. What a great way to start our stay and make us feel welcomed.. The apartment was exactly as advertised and included a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and outdoor deck and grill. We had everything we needed. Lody and Jeff were available if we needed anything but valued our privacy. The location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful bayside park across the street. There is an easy walk to downtown Rockport and a bit more workout to get to Camden (worth the effort). This area is a nice contrast to the busier areas to the south and Bar Harbor to the north. Bottom line: perfect hosts in a perfect location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Lody's place. Both of our hosts were warm and welcoming. They shared their garden with us which was so unexpected. They were so concerned about us because we stayed during Hurricane Lee. If you ever need accommodations near Rockport, Rockland or Camden this is the perfect location. Thanks for a great stay. Perfect Mid Coast Maine getaway

The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. Our wonderful hosts even offered us fresh veggies from their beautiful garden! The apt is just down the street from a lovely waterfront park, and a short drive to downtown Rockport and Camden. There is so much to see and do in the area- we wished we could have stayed longer. This is our second stay here, and we plan to return!

#1 Stay After Years of VRBO Bookings

I have stayed in VRBO rental accommodations around the globe from Amsterdam to California, Maine to morocco. I’ve had some remarkable accommodations, but none fit the vibe of the vacation as much as this one. Charming, quiet, and well located, right across from the Atlantic; I could not have asked for a better stay. The apartment is well appointed, has a Kitchen you can cook in, AC for hot days and a little stove for the cooler ones. The hosts were an amazing source of local information, even though I’ve been to Maine many times. This is perfect for solo, traveling, or a couple. Just do it!

Best Kept Secret in Rockport

Lodi is the ultimate host. Greetings, walk thru rental, gorgeous property, amenities throughout our place, high ceilings, grill, table chairs under an umbrella on our own deck, park nearby, quiet, full kitchen.
