Featuring high ceilings, gorgeous woodwork, and a large library, this oceanfront home is as charming as it is unique. You'll wake up every morning to the sound of ocean waves and end each day around the outdoor firepit surrounded by your loved ones.

With more than four miles of lovely beaches, scenic paths through the woods and glades, and beautiful coastal light, Rockport is sure to delight guests of all ages. From local art galleries and museums to nearby historical sites, there's plenty to do and see. For a fun stroll through town, check out the Bearskin Neck area less than a mile south, which offers an array of local shops, restaurants, and amenities on Sandy Bay.

While the cottage was on the seaside with a beautiful garden path leading to it, there are a few things to consider when looking to make this your vacation stay. The property is NOT safe for children. There are multiple delapitated, abandoned houses, sheds and out buildings on the property that are falling down. There many old buckets, hoses, pipes, rusty things strewn about.Except for a path that leads from the parking spot to the house, the entire yard is overgrown. The space overlooking the ocean is beautiful, there is a small path that leads out onto rocks, but beware it is overgrown with poison ivy.Inside, the home filled with many old books and has a great library. The house doesn't seem to have been dusted in years, cobwebs and mouse poop fill the library, so beware. The carpets are covered in white animal fur. The beds are about 40-50 years old, the mattress springs are squeak and the boxprings are falling apart. Other than those things, the place is truly a diamond in the rough. If the overgrown garden was restored back to it's former glory, the trash picked up and the house dusted and vacummed and had a couple new mattresses, I would have given it 5 stars!
