115 yr old Historic Heffner House in Downtown Rogers
We are excited to share this 115 year old charmer conveniently located in downtown Rogers and just minutes from Lake Atalanta, bike trails, and Beaver Lake! It has quaint touches and features that provide for a unique experience. It has many of the original features of the home, with modern updates throughout, and a large back yard with a firepit.
Fun aging property. Central AC unit with supplemental room units performed well and kept us at a comfortable temperature. Stair risers to the rooms upstairs are not standard height and there are no handrails. Landing needs a banister, however space is limited for it. Therefore caution should be exercised when using those room as navigating stairs especially at night may be difficult. The only bathroom is downstairs. Loved the proximity to town. Neighborhood is quiet and good for early morning or evening strolls. Huge yard with firepit ready for use. Several garden areas with growing vegetables... during our time we picked and enjoyed fresh tomatoes. Super fun if i had had a grandchild with me.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the house was very close to the charming downtown. We loved the porch swing in particular! House was very clean and well-equipped. Would stay again.
The property and house was beautiful and well-maintained. It is nestled right in the middle of everything nearby and not too far from the University in Fayetteville either. The pricing was affordable in my opinion and we walked around the neighborhood and sat outside quite a bit. Never did we feel unsafe or unwelcome by the local community!
This house did not disappoint! It had all of the charm of a 113 year old beauty. The backyard was perfect to hang out in. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. I do wish there was a larger dining table and only 1 bathroom made it a little challenging at times. For the price and location I would recommend staying here and if we are ever in the Rogers area we will book again.
