The very friendly staff are let down by a hotel that need to be refurbished, stayed here some years ago and that why I came back, not sure I will again.

Generally good value for money, good location using metro to town centre and good restaurant downstairs. TV intermittent working, even after fixed by staff.

Unfriendly staff with a less than mediocre service

Hotel representative was drunk when we arrived at about 11pm, told us to meet her in the morning, we had paid for breakfast and they refused, stated we didn’t and made us pay for it again. The first morning as we had been up later than usual we asked their cleaners to come back later as we weren’t dressed but never showed again that day, they arrived again 3 days into our stay to finally clean the room but had only moved our shoes to the side, made the bed and emptied a bin bag even though we had rubbish lying around the room which was clearly rubbish and in bags to be disposed of. Upon leaving the property the hotel rep knocked on our door 5 minutes before check out, we were very close to being ready and would have been out on time however gave us attitude and hostility that we hadn’t left yet.

Dear Locky, sincerely thank you for your review, it pains me to hear this but it is very useful. You have brought to my attention something I did not suspect and I am verifying the veredicity of your statement, which if true will be delt with very seriously. In any case, I apologies for the inconvenience, I wish you would have alerted our very receptionist about the incident in order to make good the rooming conditions you described which are definitely not our standards as we are have no intentions to destroying our reputation. We are restoring the Hotel in November 2018 and opening a wine bar next to the restaurant, hopefully I will have a chance to make it back to you. Best regards Giuliano

Value for money, convenient to Metro.

Pros: Convenient to Metro and not to far out of Rome. Great value for money.
Cons: A bit of pest control. The room only had one chair which meant we could not both sit on the balcony.
Location: Location is mainly working class residential, but no nearby factories or similar. A few small workshops, a number of small shops serving the locals.
Hotel is about 200m from Metro station and about 15min train travel to Termini Station. Lift (slow) to all floors. Rooms are spacious, bathroom facilities OK. The staff are very friendly and have good English. Like all European 3* hotels it is hot in summer and very noisy with the windows open. The bed was large and comfortable, bathroom OK, bath but no shower, just a hand-held shower head which is pretty inconvenient. Breakfast was good by Italian standards, with toast, coffee, croissants, fruit drink, yogurt, etc. The neighborhood is working class, fairly dirty (communal garbage bins in the streets) but has a collection of reasonably priced restaurants, most with English menus. If you want class, go somewhere else and pay through the nose for it! The only real downside was an infestation of ants (on the fourth floor) that got into my backpack and gave me grief on the second day. After that I made sure that my backpack was clean each morning and that there was no food left around in an accessible location.

Terrible hotel, worse location

We ended up leaving and booking/staying with another hotel even though we had already paid for this one in full

Hello, I regret you terrible experience. Certainly what happened there must have been an overbooking and we were forced to find an alternative solution. These kind of events are very seldom but can and do happen even to better hotels than ours. I am certain 100% you were not charged for the for the repositioning. As for the area you did not like, it is beyond my possibility, but I am sure if you had stayed with us you would have discovered a very interesting off the beaten track area of Rome.

Friendly Clean place

The room was clean as well as the restroom. The restroom was well stocked with all the needed toiletries. The balcony was big and had a nice view of the city!

Friendly english speaking staff, helpful and ready to offer recommendations. Clean room with bath / shower. Shower did not have a high wall fixture however, so must be held in order to shower properly. Overall great budget option.
