My family and I stayed at this property for 5 days/6 nights. The breakfast was average, nothing to boast over. I am disappointed that I had to call the front desk for room cleaning each day, despite there being a sign on the door which request or deny service. The property is in a good neighborhood with local access to bus stops. Property is older, but good enough to sleep in and close to Vatican City.

When we first arrived, our room smelled of sewer, so we changed rooms. Unfortunately, we did not realize until the next morning that the shower did not drain properly. The a/c in the room also did not work, as it would trip every 30 seconds when we turned it on. Despite all the problems we had with the room, the staff was extremely friendly, the location was walkable, and it was quiet at night.

Loved staying here. I struggled to find an affordable place in Rome, so Metropolis really stood out as best in class for the price range. There’s some hallway noise and things aren’t at luxury level, but all the factors that matter were fantastic.
