Very clean, comfortable rooms. Great view and modern bathroom.
The restaurant on the same site was excellent. We're both vegan and found the option provided was really well cooked. We also found a few vegan wines.
Staff all very friendly.
Room was good and clean. We were left with no staff on and after Christmas. We wanted to upgrade the room but was denied due to staff unavailabilty.
Restaurant was closed during our stay but no microwave in the room left us with minimal options for food. May not be the best stay for families with kids as nothing much around.
They should just close down and not take any reservations around Christmas.
Excellent service at reception, bar and restaurant, the young ladies were so friendly polite and helpful, even organised meals for us after the kitchen had closed as we arrived late, foods great drinks great, view from the restaurant and rooms was amazing, very clean rooms, very comfortable bed, highly recommend , we loved it so much we booked a few more nights.
Thereâs something very special about Rosevears. Upon arrival you feel the tranquility and beauty of a 5 star eco tourism resort. The studios are beautiful, well equipped and designed to mould into the natural environment. The views across the Tamar river are stunning. The restaurant is welcoming and like the rest of the location offer brilliant views. Filled with a mixture local and visitors the vibe is fun and The staff are attentive and well versed on the. Jeremy the bar manager and jack of all things Rosevears would be welcomed as a
We loved our stay at Rosevears Hotel. The room was modern and exceptionally clean. Communication for afterhours check-in and the process for this was easy. There's not a lot of space in the rooms once you add in two medium sized suitcases, but we managed. There is ample on-site free parking which is great. There is a short uphill walk to the rooms so a suitcase with wheels makes this easier (it is a wooden duckboard style walkway). We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant on site - with excellent service. Oh, and the hot chocolate sachets in our room were delicious so enjoy those!
Overall. Rosevears hotel was delightful to stay at.
I would have loved to enjoy a complementary water for me and my partner. The local tap water is awful.
Everything is thought of - spa towels and robe, Wine glasses and outdoor glasses, biscuits, coffee pods, tea, cups and mugs, breakfast bowls and toaster. Beautiful view. Great food in the restaurant ohh and fabulous views! Easy reach of Launceston and surrounding areas. An excellent spot to relax and explore from.
Great spot. Itâs close to Launceston but in a secluded spot. If you want to get away from noise and traffic this is the place. Spectacular views and the pub is only a hundred metres away.
Overall enjoyable stay marred by missing towel rack, poor breakfast and staff attitude. Only white bread available and very limited breakfast choices. Lake views and walks make up for the negatives.
Hotel close to the Tamar valley vinyards. Our room had everything we needed and even a spa. Views out over the river made it a great place to have both an evening wine and a morning coffee.
Food at the hotel was also pretty good. There isnt too much else around though so you will need a car.
