Avis Spectacular Heat Pump Pool/Lanai, 4 bed/2 Bath Home only 10 min from 5 beaches

Translation: Very nice property very clean the only disappointment was the quality of the swimming pool. There was constant algae in the water and the person who took care of it came every week but it seemed that he could not control the problem. Owner: Sorry for your experience. Unfortunately during your stay we had an issue with the Pool Salt Generator. it was fixed in a couple days.

We are sorry for your bad experience. During cool November nights in the 40’s, pools in Florida HAVE to be covered or you lose all of the heat. The pool heat pump can only run during the 8 hours of the day while the filter pump is operating. Without the pool cover, the pool temp will drop into the 70’s and it will take all day to get the temperature up just to lose it again at night if it isn’t covered. We maintain 84 setpoint and INCLUDE this without a supplemental charge in the rental agreement. 84 is a comfortable temperature and this can be maintained IF pool is covered at night as described in our welcome book. 90 deg setpoint and higher is not acceptable for several reasons including bacterial growth. You notified us of the dishwasher keypad on your last day and it was replaced the next day. Unfortunately, you had already departed. As for the other issues, I checked our texts and don’t see any mention of these issues. We do not require the outdoor furniture to be covered every night, only during inclement weather and upon check out. The large 8’ umbrellas have a collapsible installation pole inside each cover so there is no need for a stepladder, however, we do have a stepladder available in laundry room if desired. As for the landscape lighting, we weren’t aware of any issues. And finally, all 6 TV’s operate on the wifi and we stream all of them use the high speed wifi with no other issues mentioned by renters including those after. As for the alligators we have personally never seen any around our property but it is Florida not sure what we can do about that. Again we weren’t aware of your struggles and could have addressed each concern.
