Loved the location and overall accommodations. There was some confusion with which house we were staying in since it wasnât listed anywhere on the listing or check in instructions. All the little details like the coffee bar, extra towels and toiletries were great! I would request that black out or room darkening shades be added to the windows â the flood lights surrounding the entire house shined in the windows all night and it was SO BRIGHT. Also the bathroom door is very hard/loud to open and close. Too chilly to get in the pool but it was clean and well maintained!
We stayed here during the Spring Antique Show and it was great. Very nice, clean place to stay. Perfect location, so close to everything that we wanted to do. Hope to be back for the fall show and stay here again!
The place was clean and cutely decorated. Easy to get into town. Nicely stocked with some snacks, waters and coffee. Some instructions for the coffeemaker may be helpful- we couldnât get it to operate even after looking up directions online. We also couldnât figure out how to shut off the exterior lights at night- if theyâre permanent, some blackout shades would be nice as the room stays pretty lit up.
We were in Round Top for a wedding we were in, so we didnât spend much time on the property. Very convenient location not too far from the square. This house was the perfect size for our two friends, my husband, and I. The only reason I didnât give a 5 star rating was because we couldnât get the ceiling lights/fan to turn work. I messaged the owner on here since it was late and luckily the lamps were sufficient enough for light! I never got a response on here, but again I didnât find too much importance in reaching out further as we only booked this place to have a place nearby to sleep. Other than that I will say I would book this place again!
My girl friends and I enjoyed our stay in the Pool House. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us to sleep, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a twin bed in the room in addition to the 2 queen beds, which were all very comfortable. The room was great, very clean, and looked just like the photos. It's a 3 minute drive from the Henkel Square, which was perfect after a day full of shopping. Our only disappointment was that the bathroom door kept sticking and was VERY loud when attempting to open it, which made going to the bathroom while friends were sleeping difficult without waking anyone. We also did not have Prosecco on arrival, as listed on their site.
