Quite a few let-downs in my opinion
Publié le 11 oct. 2021 sur HotelsI decided to book at this place for the swimming pool. Unfortunately the pool closes at 8.45pm and I arrived around that time. In the morning it is only opened between 6.30am and 8am. The thing to know is that this place is actually a sport center used by locals, schools and so on. There happens to be rooms and apartments available here. This makes for a strange atmosphere, and it probably explains the limited hours.
Also the in room sauna was an important item on my checklist. But it was impossible to get it hot. The thermometer was completely non functional, but I think the sauna barely reached 60 degrees. I don't know much about designing a good sauna, but the strong draft on the sauna ceiling vent was probably why it wasn't able to run hot.
Else the apartment was spacious, brand new, well designed. The bed was great, but warm lighting instead of cold lighting would have made the flat feel more cosy and less impersonal.
The breakfast is ok, but passable.
While the place is still good, in my case coming here was a mistake, there were better options elsewhere in Rovaniemi.

I really don't have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Everything was spot on. Me and my little man age 8 thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wanted to feel outside of the city, but within easy reach. This is just perfect. We could walk to the supermarket, center and have plenty of open space to play in the snow. Breakfast was good for us, so cant complain although it is a style more for European customers.
Apartments perfect for families and well appointed. Loved the big table for family dinner. The sauna was also enjoyable. Only odd thing is no sink in the bathroom.
Staff freindly and helped me with a lost phone. Would definitely come back to this hotel.
