" Our appartement is situated near the sea (200 m) in the most beautiful part of Rovinj, very peaceful Borik (as the name says, nearby an old pine forest).It is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and completely renovated this spring. It contains a large terrace surface of 23 m2. . If you are in need of peaceful holidays, take a footpath through the pine woods, find your place under the sun and rest whole day long. Rovinj is one of the most 'photogenic' towns in the Mediterranean, today is a tourist resort. Rovinj has long been known as the town with favourable and beneficial climatic features. So, today its people are still proud of this long tradition and 'fight' for the title of 'healthy town'... The rest is nature’s work. The entire coastline, with its twenty-two islands is an area of protected natural heritage.

If you are an artistic spirit, take sightseeing: DVIGRAD, remains of a medieval town, only 23 km from Rovinj abandoned in the 17th century; THE LIMSKA DRAGA COVE,a miracle of nature and a reserve marine, 15 km by land, 4 km by sea; BALE,the town features the extraordinary Bembo palace and a beautiful neobaroque parish church, 10 minutes drive from Rovinj; ŽMINJ, a town 25 km from Rovinj, which combines the atmosphere of the Meditterranean South and the continental North features the fiesta of St Bartolomew's and the Chapel of Holy Trinity; MOTOVUN, is a town- monument, an ancient istrian medieval acropolis believed being built by giants, located at the top of 277 m hig hill.

Schöne gepflegte Ferienwohnung nahe am Meer

Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Kleiner Supermarkt 3 Minuten entfernt, ca. 5 Minuten bis ans Meer. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin.

Angenehm groß, aber arg renovierungsbedürftig

Die Wohnung liegt im ersten (=obersten) Stock des Hauses, im EG darunter befindet sich ebenfalls eine Ferienwohnung, die demselben Vermeiter gehört. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung bei Bezug war noch akzeptabel. Eingangstür ist verzogen und das Schloss war defekt: es ließ sich nur mit viel Geduld und Fingerspitzengefühl absperren. Man hat das leider nur bemerkt, wenn man das geprüft hat. Der Schlüssel hat sich nämlich durchaus zweimal im Schloss gedreht. Wie gut, dass die Gastgeber einen Hund haben... Es gibt zwei gleichgroße Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten (+Sofa) und jeweils eigenem Zugang zur großen Dachterasse. Die Türläden von den Zimmern dorthin ließen sich z.T. nur teilweise öffnen und nicht absperren (Schloß/Riegel kaputt). Im Flur steht eine gute Waschmaschine und es gibt einen Wäscheständer auf dem Balkon. Die Küche hat einen Gasherd, leider funktionieren einige Knöpfe nicht. Die Dunstesse saugt nur, wenn sie Lust hat und auch die Beleuchtung war teils defekt. Eine Mikrowelle ist vorhanden, ein großer Kühlschrank und extra Gefrierschrank sind da. Es gibt eine Essecke, die wir nicht genutzt haben. Für 3 Personen wäre sie ok, bei mehr wird es schon arg eng. Küchenutensilien sind zwar vorhanden, aber nicht alle nutzbar: es fehlen z.B. passende Deckel (welche auch einen Knauf haben) für die Töpfe oder z.B. Schneidebretter. Es gibt zwei getrennte Klimageräte in den beiden Schlafzimmern, jedoch kosten diese PRO ZIMMER und Tag extra! Parkmöglichkeiten: zwei (maximal drei) PkW können direkt auf dem Gelände vor dem Eingang hintereinander parken. Durch die üppig gewachsenen Kiwipflanzen ist dieser Bereich schön schattig. Strand: der öffentliche Felsenstrand ist in 5 min zu Fuß bergab erreichbar, wobei man den Großteil sogar im Schatten gehen kann. Einkaufen: wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist ein kleiner Supermarkt (mit Geldautomaten!). In 10 Fahrminuten erreicht man Lidl/Plodine/Konzum für größere Einkäufe. ALLGEMEIN: Wir mussten viel mehr für die Wohnung bezahlen, als im Fewo-Direkt Inserat angegeben war. FAZIT: Wenn in die Ferienwohnung etwas investiert würde und die vielen kleinen (sicherlich altersbedingten) Mängel beseitigt würden, wäre die FeWo gut und ihren Preis wert. So wie wir sie vorgefunden und genutzt haben, war sie noch akzeptabel. Wir würden sie aber in diesem Zustand nicht weiterempfehlen. Im Zweifelsfall die EG-Wohnung nehmen: die ist besser in Schuss!
