Two bedroom log cabin sleeps two couples or a family of 5-6. Open plan dining / kitchen / sitting room with spiral staircase to 1st floor bedroom with balcony overlooking tree-tops. Separate ground floor double bedroom. Family bathroom with shower. All electric heating, Free on-site parking for two cars.

Wonderful location for family holidays

We had such a great time at this place. I highly recommend it. Our children could sleep upstairs and had their own space. The lodge is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. Although the location seems remote at first, you can easily access many worth seeing areas and shops.

Chalet typique au charme suranné.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce chalet dans la campagne écossaise ou les moutons et les vaches ainsi que les biches venaient régulierement paitre. Le chalet se trouve aux pieds du Ben Nevis , non loin de Fort williams ( ou vous pouvez prendre le fabuleux train à vapeur comme Harry Potter) et de Glencoe ou les randonnées sont nombreuses. La chambre à l'étage ou se trouvent trois lits est trés spacieuse.La deuxieme chambre du rez de chaussé était aussi tres agréable et confortable. Sheila a su étre chaleureuse tout en étant discréte. Et je l'en remercie.

Excellent séjour dans un charmant chalet trÚs bien équipé et bien situé pour visiter la région. Immersion totale dans la belle campagne des Highlands avec les moutons et chevreuils comme voisins proches !! Propriétaire accueillante et attentionnée. Quelques minutes de piste et de route pour les commerces et à une 1/2 heure de Fort William.

Awesome, secluded, quiet wee cottage. Super stable temperature and every thing needed to cook, do washing in house. An easy short drive to Fort William was our base.

Ruhiger Ausgangspunkt zum Entdecken der Highlands

Wir hatten eine fabelhafte Woche. Die HĂŒtte idt mit wirklich allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Sie liegt mitten in der Natur mit fabelhafter Aussicht mit Schaffen auf den Wiesen und Rehe und Hirsche in den WĂ€ldchen. Perfekt zur Erkundung der Gegend um Fort William mit einer liebevollen Gastgeberin

I wouldn’t return

Had to call the owner for allocation of the key as the website stated they would upload the downloadable information two days prior to check in. It’s wasn’t downloadable and no information received. Post code does not take you to the property. I didn’t appreciate being told that in the 35 years she’s been running the business she has never received any customer problems. Except mine. Well Sheila if there wasn’t a problem I wouldn’t call you. Location is off road . Signs aren’t very clear. There is no lighting towards the location, and a small sign on a tree that is barely visible. Lodge needs major work, and updating. Drastically. The shower was awful. There was barely any water coming out of the shower head. The temperature controls were stuck so it’s either all cold water or absolutely boiling.. The tap water was brown! All the equipment in kitchen needs binning and modernised. It’s not a cottage feel at all If that’s what you are trying to display. It’s like something out of the 60s! The wooden flooring is an accident waiting to happen. Both upstairs and downstate. Dirty cutlery. NO lighting on balcony. No internet connection for Netflix to work because that’s all that works on the tv. The furniture needs an upgrade. I’ve never known anyone to pay for electric and water separately!! Money had to left on coffee table! In cash! Cobwebs everywhere.. poor smell on arrival.. it’s just a mish mash of a lodge. I wouldn’t return and I wouldn’t recommend it!

Remote cosy cabin in beautiful surrounding

The cabin is situated in a quiet place. Lots of privacy. Fort William at 25 mins, small shop in Spean Bridge at 10 mins. Very friendly host. When we arrived there were fresh flowers on the table and tea with cookies. The cabin is supplied with everything you need. Not new, but decorated with love en charm. Cabin was very clean we would love to come back

2nd year of staying in Sheila's lodges,she is a lovely lady who makes you feel very welcome.the lodge is situated in a lovely tranquil area, its so peaceful and quiet even the deer and sheep visit you.about 20 mins away from Fort William and easy access to aviemore, kingussie wildlife park and other places. The grandson love it.

WOW!!!!!Bohenie Pine Lodge

Am 50+,travelled a lot, but to come across such a beautiful location and an awesome Pine lodge is a very rare luck. A fairy tale location,whisper of the nearby running river, colourful forest,deers running by while you sit on the verandah with a glass of you favourite,just wait for the elves to show up 😀👍👌. Lots of hiking around, Ben Nevis and Loch Ness are at hand not to mention many other fantastic tourist attractions and historic landmarks ( and Scotland has a lot of them). Accomodation was faultless, all facilities you need ( washing machine,dishwasher,cooker,fridge etc) are there for you. Communication with the host - 5 stars. Would we come there again? - A big YES 👏 Thank you Sheila

Excellent!

We had a fantastic holiday at this lodge. The surroundings are just beautiful and it's so peaceful and quiet. You are spoilt for choice with walks in the surrounding area and also right from your door. Fort William is only a 20 minute drive from the lodge which is very handy for shopping etc. The lodge itself is lovely and is very comfortable and cosy. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Sheila is a fantastic host. She is very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. All in all a fantastic week. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone and hope to make a return visit in the future.
