Close to outstanding surf beach and estuary. Enjoy beautiful coastal walks, great fishing, diving, access to boat ramps - filleting bench provided for your convenience.
Ideal for family or group holidays. Enjoy an amazing seaside experience with great facilities, spacious living, expansive sea views, all designed to help you escape from the hustle and bustle

The house look nicer than in the photos, very close to the beach and have everything we need in the house ( not the hair dryer) , would love to come back next time when we go up north again. Also lovely host call to check up on us if we are okay to settle .

Home away from home

This place has literally everything that you'd need in a house. Great locations, clean, tidy with loads of stuff (hundreds of books, DVDs) board games etc, very thoughtful owners. Enjoyed our stay, highly recommend.Thanks owners.

We were a group on a golf and surfing trip and this accommodation was perfect. Well located for beaches and the golf course, we were able to do everything we wanted. The bbq and kitchen was great for preparing food for all of us.

Family fun in Ruakaka

This place was perfect for a family trip to Ruakākā. Just steps from the beach it was super convenient, with all the amenities to make for an enjoyable beach adventure. Very spacious, lots of books games, and movies.

Again, amazing!

This is the third visit for my family and I and we just love it. The house is kept so clean and each stay we feel so cosy and lucky to be there. This is really a wonderful place to spend a relaxing holiday. Well done to the owners for such a well kept, well organised and just a lovely property.

Family wedding at Waipu Cove

Had 7 stay after believing it could have been 10. First class and everything described on site. Spacious house with five bedrooms. Large lounge. Very easy access to beach.Could not fault house.

Perfect Location

Perfect location, shops are nearby but not too close to feel busy, beach is about a minute walk, and the layout of the house is perfect for multiple families/big groups. Plenty to do nearby with Waipu, Mangawhai and Whangarei a short drive away. Glynis was a fantastic host, incredibly accommodating and clear communication.

Lovely weekend with friends

This was our second visit with the same group of families. We love the location of the house, the layout, the amenities and the kayaks and bikes are such an added treat for the kids. It's an excellent property and I would recommend highly.

Home away from home.

Had everything we needed and more. Location was close to the beach, beds were comfy and had a good range to accommodate my extended family. Kitchen had everything we needed to make cooking a breeze. Loved the outdoor shower so didn't have sand going all through the house. Glynis was lovely, very prompt at replying to a couple of my questions. Look forward to coming back.

It’s true what the title says!

We absolutely loved our stay in Ruakākā! It’s a stunning house and location and it was perfect for 14 of us! It’s very well equipped, especially in the kitchen which was perfect for cooking and entertaining. Would happily stay here again.

Great place for a group of friends

This is a great place for a group of friends, or larger extended family. Lots of bedrooms, spacious and very well appointed kitchen, open plan dining & living area opening onto decks with a sea view. Highly recommended.
