Garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced stream in the grounds.. Beautifully converted in smart, contemporary style, this charming little barn and its lovely orchard garden sit in an enviably, peaceful and secluded location amidst pretty pastureland. The Old Carthouse has a pizza oven and along with the stunning surroundings, it is ideal for al fresco dining. Abbots Bromley (2 miles) boasts 5 pubs, a restaurant and local store while Uttoxeter’s shopping, cinema, bowling and racecourse are 8 miles. Dovedale in the Peak District, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, The Potteries and Tamworth Snowdome are all under 30 minutes’ drive as are Calke Abbey, Sudbury Hall and Shugborough (all NT).
