Welcome to the Firefly Cottage, at the Firefly at Madison. This beautiful ground floor cottage is full of rustic and handbuilt furniture, and includes a queen bed, kitchenette with grill, refrigerator and handcrafted concrete double sink and counters. Unique decorator features like tiffanyish chandeliers, original art pieces, quilts and custom shiplap and trim combine to make your stay a wonderment.

The Firefly Cottage has a private entrance and private bath and shower.

Madison is one of the best small towns in GA with lovely boutiques and shops, artistic venues, charming architecture, historic homes and fun restaurants. The Firefly is on 4 wooded acres and is part French country farmhouse part art gallery, pet friendly, chicken friendly and fun.

Take an art class, plan a self care retreat, a girl's escape weekend, romantic date night, explore local color or just chill out for a weekend or a week, or a month. We want you to do the best you.

We are an hour from Atlanta airport, and an hour from Augusta and the Masters golf tournament. 45 mins from Athens and UGA, and 30 mins from beautiful Lake Oconee. Close enough to accommodate movie making guests, the new Facebook hq, execs visiting the extensive manufacturing businesses in the area and also families who want peace and kitties and fireflies and fresh chicken eggs!

Farm and family

Firefly at Madison was a lovely experience. The host and her son were most attentive and made the stay welcoming. Everything was clean, comfortable and peaceful. I enjoyed mornings and evenings on the front porch with the hosts and other guests. Interesting conversations and delightful company. I honesty didn't want to leave and certainly look forward to returning. The chickens were so much fun. Thanks to Teddy's advice I will soon get chicks of my own.

We spent a beautiful weekend at Firefly and could not have been more pleased. Ellie is an exceptional host and went above and beyond. Our room was perfect and our visit idyllic. Get to spend some time in the area; you will not regret it

My stay was very pleasant.

I had everything i needed in-my room, including tea and coffee. It also included a nice breakfast in the main house. The owner, Ellie, even accomodated my milk allergy. My room had stairs so you may want to check if the one you are renting has them.

Cute Cottage--needs to be more thoroughly cleaned inbetween visits

We did enjoy staying at the bed and breakfast. The one issue we had is that it was obvious the toilet had not been cleaned before our visit. When my husband lifted the seat to go to the bathroom there was urine on the bottom of the seat and on the bowl. Luckily there were cleaning products in the kitchen area so I was able to clean the toilet myself.
