Excellent emplacement du cottage

Equipement complet. Chambres agréables. Tout est parfait ;-)

Bijou but quirky and so convenient!

The courtyard was a little suntrap in the afternoons for the very rare times we actually stayed in the cottage during the day. Comfy and everything we needed - thank you again Richard for having us!

Charming and cosy ancient cottage, perfect location
Publié le 2 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe listing for this charming cottage describes it perfectly; this is a delightful place in the heart of Rye and perfect for exploring this lovely town. One of the best restaurants in the town and the outright best pub in town (in our humble opinion), are just a few doors down the street.
This cosy cottage was perfect for my wife and I; and easily accommodated my sister too when she joined us for a few days of our stay. The small kitchen is very well equipped and there's a pleasant and peaceful walled garden out back.
The host was friendly and helpful, sending us maps and information about the city and preparing the lovely attic room (great views) for my sister's visit.
There is 2-hour parking right outside the cottage, convenient for loading and unloading people and things, and very cheap 24-hour parking just around the corner

Lovely little Cottage
Publié le 23 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cottage is perfectly situated to explore Rye and the surrounding areas. Although there is no private parking there is time restricted parking directly outside and there are a few car parks within easy walking distance which always had spaces.
So quaint and full of character, cosy, has everything you could possibly need and the bed was very comfortable - the perfect bolt hole for us to relax in.
The stairs are steep and narrow and may be a challenge for less abled people.
Richard was the perfect host, responsive and very helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
