This huge house is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend! 11 of us stayed for a family wedding in Sacramento and we had plenty of room. We brought an EZ up for the pool (no shade) but the cold weather prevented us from going in the backyard. The owners were great to work with. We played tons of ping pong! It was a nice surprise to have one bedroom that was listed as a queen actually had two twins since we had single ladies who didn’t have to share a bed. So upstairs there is 1) a huge primary bedroom with a king bed, an alcove and huge empty closet (7 year old set up our air mattress in the closet and loved it, lol). 2) two queen bedrooms that share a jack and Jill bathroom. One queen was big enough to add our single mattress for two to sleep separately. 3) two twins in a bedroom with a bathroom in the hall4) a large loft with a futon and its own tv. We used the provided air mattress on top of the futon for our single brother to be more comfortable. He used the hall bathroom Downstairs (main floor): King bedroom with a bathroom and laundry roomWe honored the request to not wear shoes going upstairs Really a spectacular home! Could use more seating in the family room. Great upscale neighborhood. Felt very safe.

It was very spacious. My husband and I stayed with my two sons and their significant others. All had our own bedrooms and bathrooms which was nice. I overestimated the time that we would have spent there which was a lot less than I thought (I would have probably gotten something less nice). House was very large and very clean and comfortable.Owner was very quick with communication. I did see if we could get in a bit early as we got into Sacramento earlier than planned and had to get ready for my niece's rehearsal dinner and was denied. I do understand getting early check-ins are difficult, but we had to kill about three hours.

The property was great for hosting our family. We had four couples and three kids there (11 total). We were able to squeeze around the dining table, hang in the open kitchen / living room space or enjoy the pool. We ate out for one meal and ate all the other meals there. Plenty of cookware, dish ware and utensils. Only downside is lack of quality groceries nearby. You have to drive a little further for that. Otherwise a great place to host a big family get together near Sacramento.

Great family stay

The home was large and clean- just what we needed. The pool and ping pong table accommodated the 10 & 12 year old while the adults got reacquainted. There was room for conversation, meals and privacy all in one home. The only improvement could have been a better appointed kitchen as we prepared several large meals for our group. Local or regional suggestions for activities, dining out would be helpful. Our hosts were very responsive!

Large house and pool, great for a group!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this house. The pool was refreshing and a great way to cool off in the summer heat. I read in the other reviews that backyard shade was limited, so we brought a canopy that we usually take camping and it worked great. Would definitely stay here again for another fun weekend with friends! Good location too, we were only 15-20min from downtown Sacramento and the Elk Grove Casino.

Great space

We stayed here during the in between of us moving across the country and it was perfect. The pool was a great distraction for my kids and the crib was needed for my toddler. So much space and we didn’t feel on top of each other during such a stressful time. Owners were so communicative and worked hard to let us in a day early since our plans changed last minute. 5/5

Elk Grove Birthday Celebration

One of the best properties we have ever rented thru VRBO. Very clean and maintained. A lot of space to enjoy our whole family. Pool was clean and several pool floats provided.. Patio was well appointed with many chairs and table. Had great bbq pit with charcoal and lighter available. The only down side was a barking dog in the property in back of this one. Barked whenever anyone was outside or sometimes in the middle of the night.

Family Week in Elk Grove

Large beautiful home with well appointed kitchen and quality furnishings. These may lead to its downside for some guests as it's almost too nice for young children. Tile floors throughout and no bunkbeds that one finds in many 'family rentals.' The pool, while large and clean, is 4' deep at the shallow end making it an issue for children under 12 years to enjoy. For adults it's great. I would rent the property again, but I'll wait until our grandkids are older.

A great place for a group!

We chose this place as a family coming in from different locations for a graduation. It was ideal for having the family together. It was set-up so well with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and good sized common spaces. The house and patio are beautifully decorated and there is plenty of seating for a large group. Beds are comfy, lots of hot water, and the pool is a perfect addition. Hosts are super responsive with communication and accommodations. Definitely, one of our favorite vacation rentals! Weekend family retreat

In general, everything was as advertised and I would recommend for a larger family or meeting place for a quiet group. We have family in Sacramento, and this place was particularly perfect for us because my parents are elderly and have problems with stairs. The ground floor bedroom and walk in shower made it easy for all. We only had 7 of us stay, but it could easily accommodate 12+ comfortably with all the beds and space. Communication from the owner was quick, accurate and helpful. We didn't have any problems, but I have no doubt Fong would have taken care of anything promptly if asked The backyard was great, but it was raining and chilly when we were there, so we didn't use the pool, bbq, etc. at all. Would have been very nice to use if the weather cooperated. I would reiterate that the house is clearly a rental with nobody living there, so it was super clean but only had the basic supplies. For example, we couldn't find any scissors, and if we wanted to cook a large meal for all of us we would have had to been creative with pots and pans and cooking ingredients. Plenty of stores and restaurants within a few miles, so getting supplies was easy when we did need them.
