Madeleine & Bernard open the doors of a very rare authentic 15th century Romanesque chapel steeped in history (exceptional "desacralized" heritage building, family property for 5 generations), very carefully rehabilitated (having preserved its lava stone roof among other original architectural riches), nestled quietly on the edge of a small alley, a stone's throw from the very first vineyards, in the heart of a picturesque, peaceful little wine-growing hamlet, perfectly preserved, not far from the center of the village of Saint -Boil (listed Romanesque church from the 10th century, unusual former Gallo-Roman sculpture quarry dating from the 3rd century, majestic railway viaduct with 16 arches from the late 19th century...to discover). Total tranquility in the heart of the Côtes Chalonnaises & its gentle hilly countryside combining magnificent vineyard hillsides, bucolic bocage meadows and vast wild forests, between nature, viticulture & agriculture. Beautifully landscaped surroundings. 100% relaxing & restful. Very comfortable cottage. Warm country character with contemporary accents enhanced by the conservation of the rich heritage traces of the original building (imposing stone pillars & walls, sculpted "stained glass" window, carved stone niche, etc.).
