“Ocean Creek Escape” is a custom-built Charleston-style home with a reverse floor plan offering spectacular panoramic views of the Ocean Creek golf course, lake, and marsh. We encourage you to read the reviews to see what guests like about the home.

Highlights include:

• Convenient location near the family-oriented Cabana Club pool complex, Activity Center, Wardle’s Landing Pier, and Davis Love III Park (playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts)
• Bright, open living area with custom vaulted wood ceilings and five skylights
• Over 1,000 square feet of covered outdoor space on three porches (one screened)
• Exceptionally well equipped kitchen, extra refrigerator/freezer in garage, Weber propane grill
• Comcast Xfinity high-speed internet, YouTube TV,surround sound system, 4 HDTVs, 75+ DVDs
• Four beach cruiser bikes, beach gear (chairs, cooler, etc.) and indoor/outdoor games
• Pack'n'Play Crib with mattress, highchair, stroller, and baby gate for any little ones

NOTE: A golf cart is NOT PROVIDED with the rental. Pets are NOT allowed.

The home is tastefully furnished and decorated with a "coastal" theme. The sofa and chairs will ensure that you’ll be comfortable as you gaze out the over-sided sliding glass doors or watch a movie on the 6-speaker surround-sound 55” HDTV. The large dining area can accommodate 8 and the kitchen is well stocked with all of the pots, pans, bowls, and appliances you’ll need. Convenient seating at a breakfast bar is available as well for enjoying cereal in the morning or a quick bite at lunch.

There is a King-sized bed in the primary bedroom and two queen-sized bedrooms located on the second floor that are all nicely furnished and have HDTVs. Two of the bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo while the primary bedroom has a private bath with a large custom-tiled shower and two shower heads. The queen-bedded (with twin day bed also) bedroom on the 3rd floor (main living area) has an adjacent, large bathroom with shower conveniently located next to it. The laundry room is equipped with a sink and a large-capacity washer and dryer.

In order to access amenities (pools, golf courses, activities, restaurants, etc.) of the Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort, guests must both purchase Guest Cards ($39-$55/pp) AND pay a resort amenity fee equal to 12.8% of the property's rental cost (excluding housekeeping fees, taxes, etc.). All individuals age 13 and older are required to have a Guest Card to enjoy resort facilities. While not mandatory, the vast majority of our guests do purchase card to enjoy access to everything the resort offers.

Weekly stays (Sat-Sat) are required in the Summer, 4-night minimum stay required all other seasons. Reservations must be confirmed (full payment and signed rental agreement) at least one week prior to arrival date.

Check in time is 4pm. Check out time is 10am.

We enjoyed our stay however the floors were filthy, inside and out. We couldn’t enjoy the screened in porch because the furniture cushions were so dirty. Only 2 wash clothes per bathroom meant we had to do laundry everyday 😢. By the way, there is a snake in the garage! Front bedroom was extremely warm.

Beautiful Home Excellent Location

Great stay at this property. Home was very clean, lots of chairs, a cooler, couple of bikes etc…are provided by the owner. Fridge / Freezer in the garage was convenient. Double car garage that is deep…ample parking for 4 midsize sedans inside. Great location being situated very close to the Activity Center and Cabana Club pool. Golf course and playgrounds are short distance on the same road, and one left turn to head to the marina and restaurant. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Very happy with 168 Ocean Creek

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable Fripp vacation during our stay at 168 Ocean Creek. Bob was attentive and responsive during the months and weeks leading up to the rental. Sue the property manager had it ready and clean for us exactly as described. We found it to be a well-stocked, clean, and relaxing property for our family vacation. We will definitely consider for future rentals. Also.......tremendous viewing spot for 4th of July fireworks.

Family Fripp Vacation

The property was perfect for our family of six adults and three children. There was plenty of space with the two porch’s and the spacious open family room kitchen and dining area. The many items for the pool/ beach and outside shower was perfect. Golf was great! Return to Fripp Island

The house had a nice view upstairs on the back porch. It’s a great gathering space. It’s a very large area; great for gaming, viewing, conversation and just relaxing. Problem: the back porch furniture was very uncomfortable! No relaxing or comfortable furniture on the porch. Hard square wood with just a simple cushion on some seats. The owner needs to desperately change it out. We had trouble with the internet/tv all week. Owner needs to up date his equipment. Owner was very cooperative with any of our concerns. Get some new porch furniture and I would rent again!

Great Escape

This property was perfect for our family. 3 generations of island lovers stayed for a week of fun and relaxation. We enjoyed viewing the lovely setting from the living area and all 3 of the spacious porches, while watching birds, deer, and golfers. The Cabana Club pool was right around the corner. It's a fantastic place to view the ocean and inlet. We took our golf cart over to the beach every afternoon for some fun in the waves. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful home. Steps were a problem which I had not considered. I was battling knee problems and sciatica so ended up not being able to join my siblings in activities as I'd planned but they enjoyed every bit of the island and that made everything good for me.

Stellar Vacation!

HUGE garage space for parking multiple cars and golf cart. The kitchen was well equipped, even with mixer to make birthday cake, crockpot for pulled pork sandwiches, many pots, pans, dishes, flatware. The screened porch was amazing, as well as the upper open deck with gas grill. We took one trip into Beaufort for golf cart tour of historic homes and scenic spots. Old oak trees were gorgeous. The rest of the time was spent at this beautiful home enjoying family time and riding the golf cart we had arranged to have delivered to the home prior to arrival. The serene beaches were vacant except for us. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. Bob was awesome. He really took care of us ❤️!

Fripp vacation

We had a great time at Fripp. The house sits on the golf course with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed many evening and mornings watching the birds and the alligator from the second story porch. The close proximity to the cabana club was great for us as we had a toddler and an infant. This was our first time staying at Fripp and we will be back!! Bob was a very responsive and helpful host.

Yearly Fripp Vacation

For the past 40 plus years my family and now extened family have spent a week together each year on Fripp Island. We have watched the Island grow as our family has grown but we still enjoy the quiet setting with room to spread out on the beach and the overall feel of the island. Each of the last 10 year we have rented different houses and this year our family has said let's rent this one again. A little different with a top floor kitchen and living area, but once you get use to the layout the benefits are many and the facilities were excellent for our family - Did well for toddlers naps and babies sleeping near by and also for entertaining when the larger family group joined in. Well pointed kitchen and grill are a plus with few restaurants on the island and with us preferring to cook.

What a wonderful week!

We have been staying at Fripp for over 15 years. This house has been the best by far. Communication with Bob was fantastic and he made sure any issue we had was taken care of immediately. Above and beyond anything I have experience. You will need to get a golf cart if you're going to the beach, but the view from the back is gorgeous and the proximity to the pool is wonderful. Highly recommend!!

This is a wonderful house in a great location with responsive owners. We have three children under four and there were a good number of small details that we appreciated specifically for children (blackout cellular shades in bedrooms. High chair, pack and play, kids beach toys. Outlet covers. Etc) that we really appreciated.

Wow!

What a wonderful place to stay on Fripp Island!! The house is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed, including beach gear, and has a spectacular view of the lagoon and golf course. We were a party of two couples who travel together regularly. We have rented many beach houses but Ocean Creek is, by far, the best ever. The owners provided great communication including island details. We loved our first trip to Fripp Island and are planning another trip in the spring and look forward to enjoying the Ocean Creek home again. Highly recommend!

Perfect Beach Week

My family and friends absolutely loved this home! It came well equity in the kitchen, great sleeping accommodations and great location. The view of the golf course was fantastic and offered wildlife views for our children. I’d recommend this home over and over again.

Amazing Memories

Ocean Creek Escape – Perfect in every way. We celebrated our 40th anniversary and a couple of major birthdays by inviting our family, total of 8 adults, to Ocean Creek Escape on Fripp Island. Driving and flying in from three different western states, it was a bit of a gamble, but did we ever hit the jackpot! Precious family memories will be with us for years to come. Our adult “kids” have thanked us multiple times for the “fantastic” and “unforgettable” family time. The key to the success was absolutely this beautiful home and its owners, Bob and Carol. Communication from beginning to end was outstanding – always prompt, clear and detailed. Suggestions for travel arrangements, activities, information about the house and general area were readily supplied. Bob went above and beyond on several occasions to help make our trip a success. After our arrival, he, as well as the property manager, checked in multiple times making sure all was in order. As far as the home itself, plenty of comfortable room for everyone to be together or to go off for a little privacy. Three amazing porches with wildlife viewing opportunities – deer, alligators and birds galore. A kitchen that is better stocked than my own. A deep garage with beach equipment, games and 4 bikes. Great location with the Cabana Club and Pools plus Activity Center and a park just around the corner. Beach access is an easy bike/golf cart ride away. We have amazing memories from our stay at Ocean Creek Escape. We are deeply grateful to Bob and Carol for opening up their home to us. Thank you.

Beautiful Vacation Home!

What a beautiful home. We were traveling with our kids and grandchildren. The home was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of space for all of us. Having baby equipment available was a real plus.
