Cottage in the heart of the medieval village of Saint-Ilpize

In the heart of the Val d'Allier, in a quiet area, the charming village of St Ilpize offers a rich and varied panorama combining waterways, vast meadows, forests and hiking trails, under a mild and very sunny climate.

Remarkable for its architecture, the medieval village was built around a castle and its chapel dating from the 11th century which are today classified as UNESCO world heritage sites.

The house is located in the heart of the place called Channat which offers a splendid view towards the Allier valley and the Monts de la Margeride.

Activities in the immediate vicinity: Visit the village, fishing, canoeing and white water activities in the Allier, hiking, museum of the Ribeyre grape variety conservatory...

A few kilometers away: the Chilhac paleontology museum, the remarkable villages of Brioude and Lavoulte Chilhac, the Ally plateau and its mills, the Benedictine abbey of Lavaudieu.

A little further still: 45 minutes from the city of Puy-en-Velay and its many buildings listed as UNESCO world heritage sites. A staircase of a few steps leads you to the balcony providing access to the cottage. Arranged on a single level, the house is very functional.
The 20mÂČ living room is composed of a kitchen, dining and lounge area. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms of 13 and 11 mÂČ each equipped with a double bed, a 4mÂČ shower room and separate toilets.

Outside you will benefit from a small flowered terrace in addition to the balcony.
