My vacation home, L'Orée des Mages, is located in the Gard department of Occitanie, in the small village of Saint-Julien-de-Cassagnas 30500, part of the Alès metropolitan area, 16 minutes from the city, next to a disused railroad line slated to be converted into a greenway.<br><br>A bakery and a grocery store, offering local products, are a 10-minute walk from the house—perfect for getting some fresh air in the morning before breakfast and bringing back crispy croissants and fresh bread for everyone to enjoy.
