The village remains the last center for the extraction of a granite known as "Bleu de Vire." You can discover this history through a walk and a family trail within the Granite Museum Park in the heart of the village, a designated "Heritage Village." Spacious and bright, this granite house now boasts a very pleasant contemporary interior that highlights the still-exposed stonework. Hiking enthusiasts will love the surrounding hills, a fantastic playground for walks and bike rides, including the GR22 (a long-distance hiking trail linking Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel).
