Stay in an Authentic Mongolian Yurt with Private Hot Tub
Each one of our yurts is a handpainted luxury sleeping pod with it's own private hot tub. The Fox Yurt is our gorgeous orange yurt. The yurts were made in Mongolia with all natural materials. In thewarm weather months you'll have access to your own picnic area and hammock and there is AC in the yurt. In the winter months, take advantage of the warm cozy woodstove and complimentary snowshoes. The washroom and kitchen facilities for the yurts are just a short distance away in our community building called, The Hive. The Hive has two full kitchens including microwaves, ovens, fridges, and a dishwaser, and all the cooking utensils and dishware that you need. There are 3 toilets, and two showers in The Hive too.
Quiet location close to Confederation Trail (we cycled)
A nice quiet getaway in beautiful and spacious Mongolian Yurts. We used Nature Space as our home base and rode to different locations each day (for three days) along Confederation Trail.
The cold plunge and hot tub were a lovely way to ease the tired muscles. We also enjoyed a yoga class with Heather in the Yoga yurt and a few foxes strolled by.
The kitchen area with our yurt labelled cupboards and utensils made everything so simple. The Hive was a great way to chat with other guests while prepping breakfast to start the day, which was nice. Super kind and friendly staff!
It was our first trip to Prince-Edward Island, we strongly feel that making the Nature Resort your home base and staying in a yurt is the best way to experience everything the island has to offer.
Located right on St-Peterâs lake off the north coast, our hosts made available SUPs, kayaks, yoga sessions, trails, hot tubs and a sauna! (Kayak, SUP rentals and yoga sessions had a cost)
Our yurt was very private and had its own small hot tub with a hammock, fire pit and chairs.
If youâve never experienced the hurt lifestyle, itâs a must. Go experience it today!!
First time staying in a Yurt that was very private with your own hot tub. The staff were very informative and helpful in every way. They went out of their way to make it such a unique experience.
We had a great stay at the Fox yurt. The hurt is beautiful. Itâs equipped with a queen bed, day bed and trundle bed which worked great for our kids. There was also a small table, wood stove and a wardrobe for clothes. It was nice to come back from a day of adventuring to soak in our own hot tub.
The Hive is the common space with a kitchen and bathrooms. It was very clean and a really nice space. We ate breakfast there and most dinners. The only thing missing is laundry. We paid $20 for one load which I thought was on the expensive side.
The location is amazing. Just a few minutes drive is a gorgeous beach that stretches for kilometres and a charming lighthouse. St Peterâs Bay is about a 10-15 minute drive away and has a lot of great food options like Black and White Cafe for coffee and yummy sandwiches, Julioâs seafood for oysters, and Rickâs fish and chips and seafood for incredible seafood dishes that are just deep fried. Greenwich PEI national park is 5 more minutes up the road from St Peters Bay and Basin Head Beach is about 25 minutes.
I would highly recommend this place as a home base.
We decided to staycate at this lovely place for my boyfriends birthday and he/we really enjoyed everything that was offered and really loved staying in a yurt for the first time ever! Beautiful scenery, despite all the downed trees from hurricane Fiona. Sarah and Heather were lovely to interact with and we hope to enjoy another stay again there in the near future
We enjoyed our stay at Nature Space Retreat immensely. Although it is a new facility, it already has a wonderful ambience. We enjoyed meeting new people in the communal Hive area, and walking the meditation labyrinth and the Maze. The trails on the property were thoughtfully laid out and easy to follow.watch for fairies along the way!
I enjoyed yoga on the beach and in the yoga yurt on site. Great walks to mammoth sand dunes and a stunning white sand beach.
My only caution would be that some people with mobility issues might find negotiating stairs up to the yurt platform and then ducking their heads to enter their yurt a bit difficult.
Super great experience! The concept is very cool and you can tell that the owners put time and efforts in every details. Good place to relaxe, connect with nature and yourself. 10/10
