A well hidden jem

Perfect stay other than signage to access through the gates and where to check in - this was frustrating after a long drive. It is located in a large garden along with a care home and it was difficult to locate where the reception was and where the building was. We arrived late but we were welcomed by a very very helpful and courteous receptionist. Now we know where everything is we will definitely stay there again.

Check was confusing, we had to go to the retirement home reception. Room was great, beautiful bathroom. No nearby eateries, ordered in. Don’t bother booking the breakfast,he’d to keep asking for things like plates.

Billed as having a restaurant, but they had none. No restaurant closer than a 1/4 mile radius. Breakfast was not worth having. The main facility was a seniors retirement home! Old hotel building is nice but common areas could use a good cleaning.

Lovely stop. A nice change from Calais

Beautiful Chateau but a moment of panic when told to enter the Seniors Living Home in the same grounds. This should be clearer in the description. The reception and pool/sauna, bar and breakfast are in the Senior Residence. This said everything was perfect and very comfortable. Only a few issues, the shower went cold very quickly for both myself and my husband. Also, extra pillows for the bed and some instructions for the TV would be great . I’m usually pretty good but couldn’t figure the sound out.

TrÚs bel appartement avec tout le nécessaire. Le personnel est trÚs professionnel et trÚs agréable. Superbe piscine avec spa et courant, également équipée d'un sauna infrarouge. Nous y avons passé un bon moment ! Le chùteau est proche des commerces et grandes surfaces. Et nous netions pas trop loin des villes avoisinantes pour faire nos découvertes de la régions. On vous le conseille.

Magnifique j'ai adoré !

AgrĂ©ablement surprise la chambre est grandiose on dirait une vraie suite. Dormir dans un chĂąteau c'Ă©tait top et calme je me suis sentie privilĂ©giĂ©. Comme une princesse ! Lieu trĂšs sĂ©curisĂ© et surveillĂ©. La literie est trĂšs confortable. Il faut se diriger dans a l'accueil de la rĂ©sidence de senior pour rĂ©cupĂ©rer les clĂ©s de la chambre d'hĂŽtel qui se trouve dans le chĂąteau un peu plus de la rĂ©sidence. Et les prix sont trĂšs raisonnable pas cher mĂȘme en vu de la qualitĂ© des chambres et des Ă©quipements.

QUEL DOMMAGE !

QUEL DOMMAGE ! RĂ©servation de 2 chambres pour 2 nuits TrĂšs jolie bĂątisse, superbe hall et au premier coup d’Ɠil trĂšs jolie chambre bien dĂ©corĂ©e. Mais on s’aperçoit ensuite que l’entretien laisse Ă  dĂ©sirer : Papier de mur dĂ©chirĂ©, petits bois de fenĂȘtre prĂȘt Ă  tomber.,etc 
,que le mĂ©nage est fait succinctement :Toile d’araignĂ©e et araignĂ©es ,vitres trĂšs sales ,toilettes etc
 Beaucoup de manques dans les 2 chambres : Pas de papier toilette, flacons de savon vide, pas de bouilloire mais des doses de cafĂ©, pas de poubelles etc
 Dans une des chambres pas de penderie, dans l’autre, une penderie mais pas de cintre. AprĂšs rĂ©clamation, nous avons dĂ» changer de chambre car pas d’eau froide au lavabo, problĂšme dĂ©jĂ  connu mais pas rĂ©glĂ© et on installe quand mĂȘme des clients dans cette chambre On nous donne un badge sensĂ© tout ouvrir dont la grille d’entrĂ©e mais le soir cela ne marche pas donc ; obligĂ© d’appeler : ProblĂšme Ă©galement connu Le deuxiĂšme jour, les chambres n’ont pas Ă©tĂ© faites : Lits non faits (Impensable pour un hĂŽtel) et le badge d’une des chambres ne fonctionne plus En conclusion, quel dommage, sans entretien et sans mĂ©nage sĂ©rieux, ce joyau va vite se dĂ©grader et avoir une triste image auprĂšs des Ă©ventuels clients Un manque de professionnalisme de la direction et de la gouvernante Par contre, personnel d’accueil et de nuit trĂšs trĂšs sympa et serviable.

Rigtig fint vÊrelse og chateuet er rigtig smukt, desvÊrre ligger det lige ved siden af et plejehjem/ Êldre boliger, hvilket gÞr det lidt mÊrkeligt. Desuden er gym og pool i Êldre bplig bygningen, sÄ man har ikke lyst til at benytte det. Der var en A/c pÄ vÊrelset der blÊste varm luft ud som vi ikke kunne slukke, det var virkelig varmt! Den a/c vi havde fjernbetjening til larmede meget og gjorde det svÊrt at sove.
