La Normandise –your cottage between countryside and seaside
Our holiday home is located in St-Sylvestre-de-Cormeilles, near the village Cormeilles which has ca. 1.200 residents. It’s placed in between the french departments “Eure” and “Calvados”. You will need approx. 30 min by car to the seaside (Deauville, Trouville, Honfleur, etc.)
Cormeilles is a picturesque village and presents itself with a variety of half-timbered houses. Some of them were originally built way back in the Middle Ages. In the village centre you can find many shops which are run by the owners. Among those shops are bakeries, butchers, a patisserie, antique shops, etc. They create a very familiar atmosphere. You can reach it in 5-8 min on foot.
You are welcome to relax underneath the apple trees in our garden or simply enjoy the perks of your own terrace just outside the holiday home or on the Calonne river-bank (opposite roadside). Feel free to use the BBQ as well.
Our comfortable cottage consists of a spacious double-bedroom (with duvet-covers) with a garden view, a bathroom with a shower, an extra guest toilet, a fully equipped kitchen (stove, microwave, filter and Nespresso coffee-machine, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, etc.), a washing machine and tumble dryer, etc.
There is WIFI in the entire place and in the living-room is a flat-screen-TV (with various international SAT-channels, incl. all GB programs), a Bluetooth loudspeaker, etc.
La Normandise is a cottage where you just put your luggage aside and start to relax and enjoy. The beds are prepared and we have towels, bathrobes, kitchen towels, etc. ready for you. Almost like in a hotel !
You only have to provide for your food. (next supermarket is only 5 min walking distance from the cottage)
