Unassuming but very comfortable!

The bedroom was clean and the bed large and comfortable. The bathroom was recent with a good shower. The rooms are very simple and plain but lots of room for luggage, beach bags etc and the air conditioning worked well! The pool is large and well maintained with plenty of umbrellas and loungers. We were the only English people there for the week we stayed - didn’t bother us. We were only B&B so can’t really comment on the catering. It did mean that most people left pool area for 90 minutes or so at lunchtime and we had the pool to ourselves one day! It’s a 15 minute walk into the restaurants in Ste Maxime but it’s a flat walk and it was good to walk home after dinner. All of the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and polite. They coped with our limited French and some spoke English. The bar staff were friendly and helpful (the bar is cheap). Reception staff also very good. Particular mention for the manager who was charming and had suggestions for things to do etc. We extended our stay by 2 nights and he quickly accommodated this and gave us a good rate. Having a free car park in Ste Maxime is great. We have stayed nearer the town previously and car parking is expensive so we were grateful to not have to pay €30-40 per day to park. We will be back.

The property was not as advertised, our room was not particularly clean or updated. And while the staff were friendly, they did not speak English, as was advertised.

Okej läge men slitet mediokert hotell

Slitet hotell som skulle behöva en ansiktslyft. Hela anläggningen var gammal o kändes lite som ett hyreshus. Rummen slitna o trist inredning. Det var i alla fall rent o servicen helt okej. Poolen höll måttet o uteserveringen. Var brist på poolhandukar vilket jag inte tycker är acceptabelt. Maten o frukosten höll väldigt medioker standard. Anläggningen behöver mer kärlek för att jag ska vilja tillbaka. Läget är ändå helt okej!

For det neste god mat, 4 retter til lunch og frokost. Somoftest veldig god mat. Men frokosten var skuffende. Lite utvalg. Og ikke noe stekt egg eller andre varme frokostretter. Heller ingen oppskåret frukt osv. Rommene var dårlig rengjort. Vasket ikke overflater eller speil, selv om det hadde kommet flekker eller lignende. Sengen ble redd opp og vasken rengjort. Ellers dårlig renhold. Men hyggelig personale for det meste. De aller fleste var superhyggelig. Men flesteparten kunne ikke engelsk, den ene jenta i resepsjonen sto at kunne engelsk, men skjønte ingenting. Et minus er også at all informasjon ble gitt på fransk om aktiviteter og lignende som foregikk på hotellet. Slik at utenlandske turister, inkludert meg selv ble utelatt og fikk ikke denne informasjonen. Bartenderne var superhyggelig, snakket bra engelsk, også direktøren. De fleste servitørene var veldig hyggelig, og prøvde litt engelsk, selv om de syntes det var utfordrende. Alt i alt et bra opphold, men noen minuser på maten, informasjon, og spesielt renhold.
