Out dated. We were told check in was 2pm so that's why we booked it as we had an event to go to - the lady at the check in was extremely rude and told us she knows it says 2pm but in fact it's 3pm and we can't check in. This made us late for our plans for the rest of the day and we even had to cancel one of them as we wouldnt have been ready in time. Her attitude and unhelpfulness really annoyed us. The rooms are dated and basic, not what I'd expect from a 4 star. The bed was really uncomfortable and I burnt my hand washing them, not expecting the tap to get hotter than the kettle!

Good hotel

It was very close to the O2 Victoria warehouse which I was attending. The hotel is pleasant, the room was a fair size. Bed and pillows comfy. There was no climate control in the room, but a fan was provided. A fridge in the room which is always handy. Overall a pleasant stay.

Overall the experience was quite good, we had received a larger room than anticipated and the staff were friendly. My only concern was the presence of a plug socket near the main bed was non-existent, making it difficult to use the provided fan.

We stayed at this hotel before and after running the Manchester Marathon so we chose it for its location. The staff were friendly and faultless, the room was clean and we had a nice view of the quay, so had all we could have wanted. Many thanks

Property is old and dated, light streams though the side of the curtains, reception area is OK but the actual bedroom looks like it has never been updated, shower area still rocking that 1990 vibe but the shower did work. For the price I paid it was overpriced and wouldn't stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay here, parking was free, bonus, close to bars restaurants, hotel staff great. Would definitely recommend. Next time were in manchester will definitely be booking here.

Birthday surprise for my fiancee

We stayed here last year in march initially when I proposed to my fiancee...this year we decided to go a month later in April as it was my fiancee's birthday...Lisa, Yogitha and the whole management team were outstanding...see pics from balloons to birthday cake surprise. 10/10

Uncomfortable and in need of refurbishment

Extremely disappointing. Room was tired and need of decoration. The most uncomfortable aspect of the stay was the temperature in the room. It was absolutely boiling ... no air conditioning. Never slept and the windows could only be opened marginally as we were on the fourth floor.
