Luxury 2 Bed Edwardian House in a Quiet Sq - Free Wi-Fi & Parking, Sunny Garden

This is a truly hidden gem situated in a quiet Edwardian square, with free parking for 1 car. Ideally located within walking distance of Manchester centre or a short stroll to the bus stop or train station which provide frequent forms of transport into the city.
This 2 bedroom house is fully furnished to a high standard with no detail compromised.
If there are only two people visiting, please inform us if you intend to use the second bedroom.
This is situated in a quiet square and is not suitable for parties Please be conscientious towards the neighbours. Parking for one car on cobbled drive is free. Large bathroom with a roll top bath & separate large rain shower.

- Washing machine ÂŁ5 charge to use including washing powder. This charge we feel to be the fairest way, as most people don't wish to wash clothes, so to increase the overall cost may penalise some guests.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this residence for the weekend and would definitely return and recommend. It felt very homely, was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean on arrival. Communication and response time was excellent and the owner was very accommodating when another nights stay was required.

My friend and I spent a week here. The place was beautiful, spotless and very well kept. Loved the small touches. Nice quiet neighbourhood. We looked forward to coming back to the place after a busy day of shopping. Would return in a flash. If you don't have a car, the train is easily accessible (about 5-10 min walk). Only drawback is there is no shop or newsstand close by if you need to pick up something (there's a McDonalds). I'd definitely recommend this property.

Idyllic retreat near Manchester

A fabulous house, great facilities, very comfortable, tucked away in a beautiful square. Yvonne ensures I had everything I needed and the house was a great place to explore Salford, Manchester and surrounding areas - it was a real trip down memeory Lane for me and amazing to see how much Salford and Manchester have changed in 20 years. I’ll definitely return if I get a chance.

Very nice house

This is a really nice property in a nice little leafy square, easy striking distance to Manchester City Center. You will need to use a cab or uber most of the time, but it's quick and cheap enough. The picture of the pub in the listing is slightly misleading as it is just under a mile away. The house is very well equipped, although we had some issues with TV channels that would not show properly. Kitchen is well outfitted and open plan living on the ground floor is great for a group. Overall a really nice property I would recommend to anyone looking for a base to explore Manchester and the surrounding area. Very handy for Salford University and walking distance to Salford Crescent train station, too.

Lovely short break in Salford

My husband, younger son and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting my other son who is at Manchester University / RNCM. It is a lovely holiday rental and a lot of care has gone into making it welcoming and comfortable. It is very well equipped, warm and there is plenty of hot water. It is spacious and clean with fast and free Wifi. The location is brilliant and I think you would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else so quiet and secluded with its own parking space in Manchester, yet so close to public transport making it very easy to get around. It is right next to Salford University and an easy bus ride to Manchester University. It is only a very short walk to Salford Crescent station and relatively easy to drive to also. There were a couple of small negatives for us - we didn't find the king-sized bed very comfortable and the mattress made us roll together, and that might put us off going for a longer stay. Also, we have stayed in many holiday cottages, but we have never before been charged for using the washing machine and ÂŁ5 seems quite steep especially as the tumble dryer wasn't working. However, to be fair, this is made clear on the property description so we did know it would be the case. Overall a very pleasant stay and a property that I would recommend to others.

The property was well appointed, clean and super convenient to major thoroughfares! Very comfortable and tucked in a quiet location. Landlord was very detailed about directions which was extremely helpful for us. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful getaway just outside the city

We couldn't have been more pleased with this beautiful home! Yvonne was gracious and accommodating and our stay was wonderful. The home is absolutely beautiful and tucked in the corner of a quiet square adjacent to the University of Salford, an easy walk from the train station. It's tastefully appointed and includes everything a traveler could need; the photos don't do it justice. Our only disappointment was that we only booked a single night here and so wish we could have stayed longer. We were visiting the Uni of Manchester; if our daughter decides to enroll there we'll definitely contact Yvonne for future visits. Absolutely perfect experience.
