Perched high above the Arkansas River Valley- Rhode's Hideaway provides breathtaking views of the Collegiate Peaks. Quaint and Cozy, this home offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a fully appointed kitchen. Conveniently located near the Arkansas Trail system and minutes to historic downtown Salida.

This home offers:
-Master bedroom with full bath and king size bed
-Upstairs bedroom with a queen bed
-Upstairs bedroom with two twin beds
-Wood burning fireplace
-TV with streaming capabilities

-2 well behaved dogs are allowed

​​​​​​​All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as, toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved over-occupancy or pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

Home was clean, views are beautiful and a relatively quiet neighborhood. I would say the photos make it look as if it is on a very private piece of land, however homes all around and busy road next to it (during hunting season). Easy access to Salida and restaurants and activities. We did have a challenge getting the home warm enough in early November, and would suggest a new mattress in the master as we had to use another room as it was not comfortable. It was a cozy home, could easily accommodate more than just the two of us, pet friendly. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Well maintained older Home and beautiful mountain location. They were not kidding about the Wi-Fi and we had to have someone come out and actually fix it before it would ever work. They were able to get it fixed within two or three days, however. Nice central location that allowed us to visit more places West and south in the state. Older appliances and cheaper kitchen tools.

This is probably one of my favorite VRBOs. It has absolutely everything you could need. If you are looking for a totally modern, refurbished place, this may not fit your bill exactly, but it looks like it's in the process of a continuous updating and refurbishing. This is also probably the cleanest place I've every stayed, and that means alot to me. Great, great place with a wonderful energy and a wonderful view!

The house was very clean and spacious—the bedrooms are huge—and had pretty much anything we could have needed. The only issue was that the wi-fi was out for most of our stay, but fortunately cell coverage was fine. The location was very convenient to town and we loved drinking our morning coffee on the deck while looking at the gorgeous mountains.

Awesome stay!!!

Place was very spacious and clean! The location was away from town and was very quiet but close enough it was only a short 5 minute drive to get into town. Wildlife would greet us every morning and evening and overall was just a very relaxing atmosphere. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be coming back next time we are in Salida!

Secluded and close to everything!

Comfortable accomodations and great view in a perfect location! It was easy to explore Salida and the surrounding areas. We loved the wrap-around deck and property. The house was not as large as it appeared in the photos but it was cozy. The kitchen was well-equiped. We specially liked that our dogs were welcome! We definetily recommend it and would love to go back!
