Once again, we had a wonderful stay at this charming and cozy brick bungalow. We had everything we needed including clean towels, toiletries, tissues, kitchen amenities, laundry supplies, and overall comfort needs (love the pillows and basket of throws to use to curl up on the couch). The house is clean and inviting with an abundance of personality.Amy is the perfect host and has excellent communication. We love the feel of the neighborhood and the sense of belonging to the core of the Salina community. It is close to the Stiefel theater, excellent restaurants, the wonderful art center and its lovely film theater, and many quaint downtown shops. And in the other direction, a great Dillon's grocery store, gas stations, car wash, Target, Walmart, drug store, chain and local restaurants, and any other store you could need.Experiencing this peaceful and safe space is a perfect way for us to relax, reconnect, revive, and enjoy "being". If we want to "go out", we have a variety of choices available to us. This house combines the original gorgeous inner and outer "foundations" with updated, modern comfort. We love it. I especially love the porch and its window into life that allows me to be both a participant and observer at the same time. This time, we revisited the nearby community of Linsborg including the art gallery at Bethany college and Hemslojd Swedish shop. It had been a couple years since we had been there, and it was well worth the very short drive.
