Posted Apr. 8, 2023 on HotelsThe best thing about this hotel is its location at Porto da Barra, just a few steps away from the beach, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants etc. But the hotel itself is dated and poorly maintained. The lift has problems, the room and bathroom need urgent renovation, or at least a (very) deep clean. In the gym, none of the 3 threadmills worked and the space was left filthy, with dead cockroaches all over the floor day after day. I had booked a 5 day stay but left after just 2. Shame as the location is juet perfect.

Posted Jan. 4, 2022 on HotelsIm a experienced traveler for working and pleasure. This is one of the worse hotels I have been to. Hotels that are cheaper are better. First 2 nights we could not get a blanket. 3ed night we got a blanket after days waiting on one. Still had to ask several times a day for it. 4th night we were there the maid left the blanket but took the sheet! They also don’t have hand towels. Towels are old and ratty. Shower head was broken. Mirror lost most of the reflection. Place was clean. Breakfast was below average. Windows are not sound proof. It is in busy area with nightlife so very noisy. First day only two elevator worked, one regular other was service elevator. Second day no elevators worked. 3 Ed day all 3 worked. 4th day only 2 worked. Hair dryer did not work. Safe did not work. I asked front desk 3 times to repair. We finally gave up.
