This isn’t just another rental; OUR BEACH HOUSE is the place where you finally settle in, kick off your shoes, and let the rest of the world fade away. We designed this five-bedroom/three-full and one-half-bath home to feel different from the start, less like a temporary stay and more like your own coastal sanctuary. From the bright, refreshed interiors with light coastal accents to the open living spaces that invite long conversations, every corner is meant to be lived in and loved. When you’re telling stories about your trip later, we want you to call it “our beach house” and truly mean it.
Your days here follow the natural rhythm of the Atlantic. It starts with morning coffee on the oceanfront deck as the sun climbs over the horizon, followed by easy walks across the sand just steps from your door. Here, you will find a shoreline that’s wide and uncrowded, offering the kind of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere. When you’ve had your fill of the surf, the private 12’ x 23’ pool is waiting for a refreshing dip, while the screened porch offers a shaded retreat. As evening approaches, the 6-person hot tub becomes the best seat in the house for watching the sun drop over the sound, painting the sky in colors you’ll remember long after you leave.
The bedrooms are designed to offer everyone their own private corner of the coast. On the upper level, the king master suite serves as a quiet sanctuary, featuring French doors that open directly onto the oceanfront deck. The rest of the family will find total convenience on the first level, where guests can choose between a spacious king bedroom or a room with two queen beds that share a bath with a jetted tub. For the kids or additional crew members, a pyramid bunk room and a fifth queen bedroom share a well-appointed hall bath.
The rest of the home is laid out for effortless living and shared memories, the star of the show being the spacious third level warmed by wooden beams and natural light. Just off the great room, the kitchen features two dedicated work areas, making it easy for the whole group to cook together without crowded counters. Step outside to the expansive deck that serves as your front-row seat to the pristine Hatteras Island landscape, where the unobstructed ocean views remind you exactly why you’re here. *Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.
Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy, or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.
