Very relaxing stay! We enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the Carrillo beach and village of Samara. Delicious complimentary breakfast, nice dinner, friendly and attentive staff.

Very small room with air conditioning and a rusty fridge. We paid $50 US for two virgin pina coladas and 6 little bottles of soda! We will never return to this hotel since the road that leads from the hotel to the beach is very uncomfortable and dirty in a run down neighbourhood, locals burning garbage on the street and urinating there. Staff were friendly and great. You couldn't enjoy the beach since you had to walk by that neighbourhood.

Hello! We are deeply sorry that you were not able to enjoy your one-night stay at the hotel. We truly did our best so we could give you the best attention expected from the whole staff. The tiny room which you mentioned has actually the standard size of any hotel room, 24 square meters. We would like to clarify that your receipt was for 37 USD not for 50 USD as you stated. We checked and you did in fact order 6 bottles of soda (350 ml each, again the standard size) and two piña colada promos at happy hour, that means a total of 4 piña coladas and 6 sodas adds up to 37 USD. Sadly we are not able to control what lies outside the hotel. We would like to offer our apologies since we were not able to captivate you with Samara Beach due to the road that you have to go through in order to get there. We are working hard so we can one day have a proper road that leads to the beach one day but right now it isn’t possible. Again it's out of our hands, but we still try our best to offer a pleasant stay at the hotel. We will improve in what we can. If you ever change your mind it would be a pleasure to have you back.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Room and grounds very clean. The access road to the hotel is very rough, my only complaint but obviously not their doing nor responsibly.

Lots of nature

Wonderful place to stay. Just be aware there are neighborhood roosters that are very vocal all day and very early in the morning. Ear plugs are the way to stay at this place. Staff is very friendly and the room was very comfortable and large. A short walk down an alley to the beach. Enjoyed my stay and would go back.

Hotel quiet relaxing .staff nice .Now for the bad ,beds are horrible no box spring mattress on slats of wood thought they were going to brake and land us on the floor, pillows we're from the 50's, lots of ants and spiders in the room all over the room .must of killed 20 to 40 a night lots of bites ! Brocken window . Needs bad , New beds and linens and pest conrol we travel lots worst beds ever .

We are very sorry that your stay was not what you were expecting. Due to the troubles you were having with your vehicle we are very sad that you could only stay one night at the hotel, even after all the help we gave you by starting your engine with our car battery before you left.This is actually the first time we have ever received a complaint about our wood bed drawers. They are designed in way that guarantees freshness and a positive stimulus to anyone who sleeps on them. If you were that displeased with them we would’ve loved that you told us so we could help you by changing it with a different bed drawer so you slept better. As for the pillows, it’s imposible that they are from the 50s since we didn’t exist at that time. If you told us you disliked them we would’ve gladly changed them but sadly you kept it to yourself. Regarding the bug problem. It would have been a pleasure to give you any bug spray that we offer for free at the reception. Even if there were so many bugs we would have gladly moved you to a room and fumigated the room where you stayed so it wouldn’t happen to another client, but once again you kept it to yourself. The hotel is surrounded a beautiful habitat that harbors many animals including the insects you mentioned. It is complicated to deal with them, but it’s not imposible if you allowed us to try. It’s a shame that we couldn’t help you with the bug trouble.As for the window you mentioned, the broken part of it is but a simple scratch that is already scheduled for repairs. So we actually thank you for pointing this issue in your comments so we can speed up this particular repair. We are more than thankful that you chose to stay at the hotel and we will try our best to improve with the issues you mentioned so other guests may have a better experience. We hope that you have a joyful trip in our country and please if you wish to check with us in the future you will be more than welcomed to do so.

We enjoyed the hotel, and that it’s family run. Attentive staff very friendly and helpful. A little sketchy getting in and out off the main road because of the low riding Toyota Yaris we rented and had to be careful driving up to the paved road to town. Beautiful grounds lots of flowers and landscapes room was pretty good size and breakfast was always tasty with great coffee. Nearby beach was quiet and sandy. Great location
