This is a super unique, high quality property in a beautiful, historic neighborhood of old, affluent San Antonio (Olmos Park) that retains incredible charm. Obviously, a lot of care has gone into furnishing and creating spaces that accentuate the French villa style of this house. We spent a fair amount of time appreciating the craftsmanship, design and the unknown history of this place. Despite much of the antique feel of the house, it is comfortable, inviting and very livable.I would note that in these older neighborhoods, this and many of the driveways are single vehicle width (although long enough for 2 cars), and overnight street parking may be discouraged. There is also a parking space beyond the driveway gate into the back courtyard that could potentially be used for additional parking. The location was great for us for access to downtown, the River Walk, and the Pearl Brewery area.Debby was a very attentive hostess and helpful with several pointers.Would definitely stay again.
