Love to stay at the Crockett Hotel. The room is old and not very clean, but I love the location in the center of the Alamo, walking distance to the River Walk, the mall, and the trolley drop-off. Very convenient for people who don’t rent a car.

Rooms were large and clean. Tavern was nice but music was not very entertaining. parking was hit and miss at times ob effeciency. Miles was great valet. Valet was convenient but expensive.

The room was large yet cozy! The pillows were some of the best in all my travels! The restaurant although going through a huge menu change was still serviced by a top notch server! Samantha was awesome!

The location was nice and central, close to the riverwalk, Alamodome, and downtown. We had a nice corner room, but construction at the Alamo started at 7:00am, so we had a couple of early mornings. The cleaning staff did not replenish our coffee, and the front desk was reluctant to share more than 2 at a time. Although the room had complimentary bottled water (for the first day), the water filling station was out of order, so we were thirsty.

No TV channels, the TV turned on, but thats about it. No local channels and even after we logged into netflix there was no wifi signal. The bathroom sink just kept making a weird clanking noise from the pipes and there was about 3 loud bangs outside our window on the 7th floor. Im assuming those noises were something either turning on or off that connects to the building.

Lobby is nice, Tavern is nice. The rooms were dated, rooms were visibly worn out. Bathrooms also wornout and dated. Faucets did not function properly. Staff friendly, notably short handed. Likely will not book this location again.
