Surf Style 1 is our guest favorite 1 br + Den + 2 bath ocean front townhome located in the heart of Mission Beach! Relax and enjoy stunning Ocean & Sunset Views from this modern vacation home with 2 floors of ocean frontage, 2 exclusive outdoor ocean view balconies. Maximum occupancy 4 (2 adults max).

LIVING AREA
This is a 2-story home with convenient entry off the ground floor. The first floor houses an open floorplan for the main living area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with high end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, Italian tile flooring, Ocean View bar area, & dining table with seating for 4. The den area has a sofa sleeper & sleek flat screen TV. Rounding out the downstairs is 1 full bath and beautiful floor to ceiling windows/doors that open to your private and exclusive front porch allowing for maximum Ocean Views and easy beach access. Upstairs you will find your master retreat, complete with a Cal King bed that's situated above the floor allowing you to take in ocean views from the comfort of your sleeping space. Also included is a mounted flat screen TV & en-suite restroom with standing shower, & a 2nd Private Ocean View Balcony!

Other features include a washer/dryer in the unit, and beach amenities including sand toys, chairs, and boogie boards.

POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
‱ GUEST REQUIREMENTS | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30.
‱ OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
‱ NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.

The location is a 10! Patio view great from 2nd story. Ground floor seating is almost on the boardwalk. Bed looks great but for older patrons like me it is a challenge to get in and out. Glass stairs do open up the room, but felt a little scary if one were to fall. Parking is tight as advertised.

Location Great Condo Needs TLC

We really liked the location but darn the pictures made this place look MUCH better. We didn't see the fine print on the description that there was work being done next door which should have been said upon booking not in fine print!! They were literally roofing and we couldn't enjoy the upper room patio because of it and the front deck is so skinny and right on the walkway. The windows not all work or open, the slider doesn't open all the way, coffee maker was not operating correctly, mirrors everywhere just a cold space and not cozy at all! it says it sleeps 4 but it's either a futon couch or blow up bed. The main bed is very comfortable and the view is great. Overall we made the best of it but will not be booking here again.

Location was fabulous and the area had everything to offer. The rental was the disappointment. It was very dirty, had ant issues and so many other items that were needing work, unfortunately the condo has not been well maintained. Which is sad as I am sure in its day that it was beautiful. It needs lots of "TLC" to bring it back.

Pictures are deceiving

The bed comfort and location are the only positives of the place. It is really run-down and needs a lot of TLC. There was mold under the sink, food on the patio and bird droppings all over the patio and windows. Many broken fixtures including the kitchen faucet. The place needs to painted everywhere.

A briefer stay than expected.

Literally on the beach. I ended up being moved to a different property because: 1) Several atmospheric rivers were punishing California. This location is great for warm beachy weather, but not for wind, cold and driving rain. Water and wind sprayed in through the sliding windows/doors and the tile floor got wet. I'm a senior and was afraid of slipping; 2) While a lovely place for beach, walkway, people watching, listening to waves 24 hours, not a comfortable place to hang out for days on end in awful weather. No comfortable couch (more of a daybed) and very old chairs with worn out cushions. 3) Admittedly, it was an overly ambitious rental for a lone senior woman considering that I'd need to go upstairs to sleep, dress and shower, plus I'd have to climb 3 bare wooden steps to get in and out of a highly elevated bed. 4) Fortunately, the agents moved me into a much more comfortable second floor flat farther down Mission Beach, away from the action and bustle of Pacific Beach, a homier environment where I could cuddle up as the rain, wind and cold buffeted California in back to back storms. I am grateful they allowed me to stay for the remainder of my 5 week vacation in this apartment which was more suitable to a "not young" person.

Could not be displeased

Totally not as described. It was filthy. It was rusty. Smoke detectors not attached to the broken ceiling braces. Rusted out mirrors. Walls that the drywall had come apart. Ceiling speaker missing and then found on the ground. Did not respond to my calls in person. Wanted emails only and that was on the second full day of the visit. They said I did not give them time to respond but I did and they did not. Then told me I should have allowed them to come and fix it all while I stayed there? They have refused giving me my money back, I stayed the first night and left in the morning. when I found something else, I called them twice before I left and they had on a recording for their weekend schedule. The experience ruined my vacation. It is not my job to be there and let them come repair the unit that should have been done before I got there. It was written in one of their past reviews and I should have taken it more serious... Please help me to get my money back!

An Unforgettable Stay

It was our first time being in San Diego. We couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in. The location is primo, right there with the ocean only a few steps away. The unit itself was lovely and had all the amenities we needed. There was also assigned parking which was very helpful. There was also followup communication checking in and making sure we weren't having any issues. Quiet and wonderful!

Needs maintenance

Chairs for upstairs need replaced, someone is going to fall. They are all the way rusted through. Stop watering down the dish soap and the laundry soap is disgusting. The place needs a deep clean badly it needs paint, new shades. It looks very very very ram down. There was no cleaning spray and very limited supplies. The floors were dirty and the stainless was disgusting. Windows and glass inside and out disgusting. The walls had chunks missing and if this was as my property I would be not happy with the cleaning maintenance company at all. The view however was breath taking. This place looks ran down.

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. The location is excellent - in between the heavy activity of PB and the family fun in Belmont. Likewise, the nearby restaurants are so good (Olive Cafe is my personal fav). The property itself is very nice and has awesome amenities. For example, I was able to do laundry multiple times which made the return home more seamless. Property management was always very responsive and helpful. If traveling with kids, I’d ensure they are a bit older as there is a decent amount of glass (ex. stairs).
