Misleading representations, combative property manager
Publié le 5 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayCondom wrappers in bedroom #2, pieces of toe separators from a pedicure in the master bed sheets, dog hair everywhere including the silverware drawer. All of these things the very first night after a long day of traveling and then to find only one bath towel and a couple hand towels. We had to get ahold of Aaron who argued there were towels in the bathrooms and finally allowed us a key to unlock a cupboard with towels. In the kitchen the drawers were sticky and the stove is greasy. Aaron offered to come and clean while we were out, but this place needs a deep clean, nothing you are going to fix in 30 minutes. We paid to be here on vacation, not play property manager and supervise a house cleaner. The floor turns your socks black just walking around. This place is dirty. The first morning we found broken glass on the floor by the bookshelf. The outside patio has not been sprayed down what looks like all winter. We took pictures of this stuff. Unbelievably disappointed we rented this place for 3 weeks; and unfortunately paid in advance. So gross. I felt sick we had this place for 3 weeks. :( Ask me for pictures, I have them.

Cathy, so sorry for your experience (by the way, we have pictures as well that are taken after every clean) so while I understand your complaint I have to reiterate that (1) we offered to come back in and re-clean (not for 30 minutes but to address your concerns) the areas that you complained about and (2) we offered to move you as well. We also refunded your cleaning fee. The condom wrapper was on a closet shelf above the level that my cleaner could see so apologies for that oversight. There were actually towels you found in the cabinet the next day so not sure why that is registered as a complaint. Glad you opted to suffer for 3 weeks rather than let us rectify your (overzealous) concerns, I guess I will have to let the other 41 guests who have stayed at the property over the last 7 years and offered us an average of 4.9* speak for the unit and let this one slide by as someone who cannot be appeased. Comfortable Home Close To The Beach
Publié le 12 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat location, easy walk to beach, restaurants and shops. The beds and couch were the most comfortable of any home we've stayed at in the past. The home has a good layout with a great deck.

Rancho bernardo stay

Amazingly quiet
