Quiet and comfortable in-law apartment with private kitchen and bath. Tastefully furnished by a photography teacher with a great eye for art. A full bed sleeps two people comfortably. There is also a couch in the living room for a third person.

This cozy apartment is perfect for enjoying what the city offers. 3 minute walk to the West Portal train station, restaurants, and commerce and 15 minutes away from downtown San Francisco, Oracle Baseball Park, Chase Center and more.

Wonderful stay in San Francisco

Very well located, this apartment, ideal for 2 adults without mobility constraints, has a welcoming atmosphere. Barely 2-3 minutes walk from the Muni network, we stayed there and explored the city and its surroundings without a car, except for airport trips (Uber). The hosts are discreet but available for information and other accomodations.

TRES Bel appartement spacieux bien placĂ©, propre et cosy, proche du mĂ©tro et de toutes les commoditĂ©s !! L'appartement dispose tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un bon sĂ©jour Ă  San Francisco comme le cafĂ©, sucre, Ă©pices...etc.... !! Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Selim et sa femme qui nous ont trĂšs bien accueillis !! Il y a de la place pour garer une voiture dans la rue le jour comme la nuit, proche de Castro et le centre ville de SF grĂące au mĂ©tro qui se situe Ă  2 pas !! Restaurants proches de l'appartement !! Merci Selim pour ce bon et beau sĂ©jour chez vous !! Nous reviendrons sans hĂ©sitations !! ♄♄ Nicolas & Bruno de Nice, FRANCE. Very NICE FLAT, very clean and convenient (kitchen full equiped, WIFI, confortable bed...) The owners are very nice and will help you if you need anything. It's very easy to park in front of the flat and you can use public transports (West portal station is one minute walking from the house). You can find also restaurant close to the house. A PERFECT place to enjoy SAN FRANCISCO !!

The unit is wonderful! This is my second stay here. The host is wonderful and very communicative. Fantastic area with a nearby Muni station to get you to downtown in 15 minutes. I strongly recommend this place to stay if you visiting the San Francisco area. Such a wonderful value.

This was a very nice place, close to our family and the West Portal area. Loved the colorful tiles especially in the bath. The walkway to the apt was a bit narrow and slanted, maybe a consideration for older guests. We are kitty lovers and visited with the resident cat on the front porch when we awaited our Uber. Five stars for us!

Terrific mother-in-law unit in West Portal! Unique Moroccan-themed decor made for a bright, pleasant stay. Parking was a breeze--there is unrestricted parking across the street up the hill one block, which is great by SF standards. Selim and Lynda were super friendly and would absolutely recommend!

Great colorful space and inspiring mix handmade and collected items. Was super easy to get around San Francisco from without a car, being within a 5-15min walk of 6 bus and train routes. Electic little lower apartment

All the reviews I read were spot on. Decorated with an artist and world travelers eye. Makes this a unique, welcoming vibe with lots to read. Situated in a quiet neighborhood a block from the Muni to be downtown in 15 minutes. Lots of neighborhood restaurants and shops right there too so you can stay local. Only caution I would give is the entry walk way down to the front door is very tight. I'm 6'6" and had to squeeze and scrape my way through even with out luggage. Also the steps are prone to be slippery so be aware.Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay immensely and would do it again.

Easy drive to UCSF

I was staying here because I needed to be at the UCSF hospital with my husband who has an aggressive cancer. These were very hard times for me, I left the apartment early and came home late. Under different circumstances I may have enjoyed the apartment more. The one thing I would have improved on was the ability to cook. There is a hot plate but I had trouble with the smoke alarm going off, even using the toaster, so my late dinners consisted of reheating in the microwave.

Wonderful location with easy walking distance to numerous high end food and beverage locations. The unit has a separate entrance within the home but is very private and quiet. A bit cluttered for our taste but other may find it eclectic and interesting. Owner very responsive and was willing to research parking questions as the neighborhood has typical San Francisco restrictions on hours and days.

Fantastic cozy place

Very nice place. Location is great with bus or light rail only few minutes walk. Local shops also only a few minutes walk as well. Host so pleasant and welcoming. A true home away from home feeling.

Great place to stay and very conveniently located to West Portal neighborhood and Muni station. Comfy bed, comfy couch, and the space heater kept it warm in chilly weather. Friendly hosts, communication was easy. Would stay again!

What a wonderful stay! This spot is both cozy and spacious inside, with beautiful art and tile work. Very close to West Portal shops/restaurants and to public transit. Would definitely recommend.

The neighborhood is upscale with actual street parking. Public transportation is 2 blocks away. The property is absolutely lovely.The unit was well stocked, very comfortable, and homey. Eclectic decor and artwork. I wish i could live there. The hosts were superb!
