Upon arrival, Amanda, a very professional and hospitable lady gave me a warm welcome and showed me around the facilities and the room. The room was even more beautiful than I expected. I just realized that I forgot to mention in my original booking that I wanted some flowers for decoration. But Amanda kindly helped me get them ready quickly. What an amazing staff! I had a pleasant stay here. Will definitely consider being back in future. 5 out of 5 stars for all!

Lot of potential but needs a lot of work
very nice hotel from the outside. However, the inside and overall experience was somewhat lacking. Once you enter the hotel, you feel that the whole hotel is very dated and trying very hard to look like a sophisticated victorian home. The furnishing of the rooms feels like everything was purchased from Ross or Ashley Furniture. The hotel is also next to a hospital and get quite noisy at night time and difficult to get a sound sleep. The windows are very old and don't insulate the sound from the outside. The staff was great and welcoming but I think the whoever runs the hotel can use some help to spruce up the whole interior, bar area, and really low quality breakfast. The hotel otherwise is a very nice area between japantown, pac heights, civic center. The outside has been really nicely renovated. The hotel has a lot of potential.
