We booked this hotel just before our trip as we cancelled our previous booking with another hotel due to the exorbitant parking charges. This hotel is a real gem of a find. Convenient location. Excellent staff service. Well thought out room layout and in-room facilities especially the kitchenette. Super clean and well-maintained. Firm and comfortable bed. We'd return if we're ever in this area. Keep up great work!

I enjoyed my stay at Residence Inn by Marriott San Mateo. Although I booked through Expedia, they waived the parking fee because of my Marriott membership and provided bottled water and snacks at check-in, which was a nice touch—especially after arriving late. The hotel’s layout feels more like a condo community than a typical hotel, giving it a relaxed, vacation-like vibe. There was also a good selection for the free breakfast.

Staff were friendly and very helpful and room was very clean. Was great having a full kitchen, it definitely met all our needs for the week long stay. The beds weren’t comfortable AT ALL and the breakfast was very poor. But we just made our own in the room. Overall you get what you pay for and it’s a great place for the price point.
