not worth the long drive into the mountains
Publié le 16 juill. 2017 sur Hotelsnot a very friendly place to stay, our reservation got 'lost' and we weren't sure if there is space for us... we booked and paid two double rooms and were given a double and a bad smelling single with a bath without toilet seat in the end (had to complain and finally got the two doubles we paid for). we did not feel we were welcome in the rifugio. no information on the surroundings were given at all and the food wasn't as good as expected. the rooms were okay in the end but the bath really small, you can't open the door without slamming it straight into the sink behind the door. the service at the so called bar was very poor, too, they did not even have any italian beer!

We are apoligize for the incovenient, this is a Rifugio in Mountain not a Resort or a Hotel.
We haven't electricity, We produce ourself the energy.
We are in the nebrodi park, is a natural reserve.
Often the telephone and the internet have difficolty to operate for our distance to city. We are in the 1300 m to height.
All the products of our cooking is made home, we have only local products.

Das Rifugio liegt sehr schön, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wandern MTB. Frühstück sollte es ab 7:30 geben. Die Betreiber waren aber erst gegen 8:00 bereit, Frühstück zu servieren. Preise sind OK. Abendessen war sehr gut.

Honesty in advertising?
Publié le 28 mai 2017 sur HotelsNice location in the Nebrodi Mountains.The room was not as advertised- it said the room was 40 sq. m. but was closer to 8 sq. m.The hotel was OK but requires more regular cleaning-lots of dead flies and dust.The breakfast was very basic.

Ci scusiamo per il disagio, siamo un rifugio di montagna e abbiamo una struttura molto rustica situata dentro una riserva naturale.
I nostri prodotti sono tutti locali, biscotti fatti in casa e marmellate biologiche.
Le camere hanno diverse metrature, ma non possono avere tutti i comfort di un hotel perchè siamo un rifugio di montagna.
